  • "An excellent property in a lovely location."

  • "We took our elderly parents and our 2 dogs, and enjoyed every minute!"

A very well kept, and clean cottage, with comfortable surroundings and great views…and pretty friendly sheep! Everything met our expectations, and will definitely be coming back for another holiday. Thank you P.s my only gripe, was the sky broadband was only running at 10mps which is pretty poor for nowadays.

Less than 10 minutes drive from beautiful beaches at Bamburgh and Seahouses and a great base for exploring Northumberland.

  • "The property is tired, sun room leaks badly and not comfortably usable."

Dining chairs very uncomfortable, wooden bench! Not overly clean on arrival. Oil boiler very smelly in kitchen and dining area and windows hard to open. We were visited twice to tell us to put bin out, unnecessary and rude. Otherwise ok, location excellent for all local area

  • "We had a great stay at Farnelea ."

..we felt very comfortable there and loved the way it was appointed. If anything I found it too warm although I know the heating could be adjustable...just thinking of your bills and the planet ! however much he tried my husband couldn't get the wood burner to work ...this is a feature we note in our cottage selection so was a bit disappointing but would not put us off booking Farnelea again as it is so lovely. Very grateful to the bin fairy ..she beat us at every turn ! Thank you so much for sharing the cottage

This cottage was so incredibly impressive So cosy but immaculate Everything had been thought of that you may need especially in the kitchen If we were to be picky the only suggestion we would give is on the fence maybe put something i between the panel to stop small dogs being able to get into the adjoining field especially as sheep are in there and come very close Our Terrier were fine but to be completely enclosed would be a good idea

Thank you so much for the kind words and for the suggestions . It is always good to hear how the house works for other people. Property Owner
