Nestled within the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, two lakes and bordered by trees, this quiet getaway is perfect for couples or a small family of four.

Bring your four-legged friend along and explore all this beautiful region has to offer.

Step up to the veranda and through into the utility on entrance, washing and drying facilities are stored here for your convenience.

Snuggle up on the plush settee and select your favourite show as the evening’s entertainment from the Smart TV, as the electric fire toasts your well-trekked toes.

Cook up a delicious feast for your guests in the well-equipped kitchen, with gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher for keeping your space tidy.

Gather around the dining table to tuck-in to a tasty meal and toast to a wonderful lake-side getaway.

Continue the evening out on the veranda with evening drinks or fire up the barbecue and watch the bright blue kingfishers flying low over the water looking for fish.

Listen to the sounds of the woodpeckers in the trees and, if you're lucky, you may even catch glimpse of a deer within the park itself.

Indulge in a refreshing shower, before choosing to catch your rest in one of two well-presented bedrooms, a king-size with TV and en-suite and a double with ample storage.

Wake-up and explore the park, which has a family-friendly feeling, with pleasant walks for dogs, well-stocked fishing lakes and nearby pretty villages to discover.

There is a wildlife walk around the perimeter of the park, ideal for an evening stroll.

Nearby is the thriving town of Grantham, home to the Grantham Museum where you can brush up on the local history, the historic Bellmount Tower and the impressive 17th-century Belton House where you can tour the expansive and vibrant grounds.

Just a little further is Newark-on-Trent which offers one of the finest Georgian market squares in the UK.

Here you will also find the National Civil War Centre which will take you on a tour back into the past, and the remarkable Newark Castle which houses a dungeon and a King John exhibit.

For a change of scenery, a day trip to Nottingham will not disappoint; explore the historic Nottingham Castle above ground then delve into the City of Caves below or make believe you're an outlaw at the Robin Hood Statue.

Find an educational experience at the National Justice Museum and Green's Windmill and Science Centre.

For a refreshing break with loved ones, be sure to choose The Lake House.
