  • "Very nice stay."

The house was actually better then the pictures, we stayed for 12 days and it was all good and something we can recommend. Very quite and nice neighborhood. The property owner was also very service minded, and made the stay very easy for us.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the cottage."

It was bright , clean and modern with everything we needed. It was great having the walks behind the cottage by the river for the dog. The ensuite bedroom could have done with having heavy curtains as the blinds had to be readjusted to make more private and the room was too light early in the morning when trying to sleep. A full length mirror would be nice too. We couldn't write in the visitor book sadly as there was no pen. We would return if in the area again. The Nelson pub was a bonus, great food! the information book was useful too.

  • "Situation of cottage was not conducive to a quiet holiday."

Surrounded by barking dogs and the football practice area next to the house. Outside space was a strip of astroturf adjacent to the football area. House was comfortable and nicely finished.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The area adjacent to the barns outside area is simply the garden of the neighbouring property not a “football practice area”. As we are currently in the middle school summer holidays, 1 - 2 children will play outside on occasion. The Barn is a dog friendly property and being situated in a rural village there are many dog owners in the surrounding area, dogs bark occasionally, although we have never received feedback of this being excessive. • "Beautiful coach house, the pictures do not do it justice."

Spotless, comfortable and spacious. Met the owner, who was very helpful and just next door but did not intrude whatsoever. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing, quiet stay away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday living.

  • "Richard & Rachel were very helpful, even helping to unpack the car, and providing clean towels half way through."

The property was clean & tidy, and the Christmas decorations was a nice touch. The quirkyness of the upside down took a little getting use to, but all in all a very pleasant stay. The artificial turf at the back of the property was really good idea, and the dog loved it too!

  • "Lifford Coach House is a great place to stay."

The owners were very helpful. I especially enjoyed basking in the sun in the back area with the outdoor furniture. A short walk to the river and nearby pub where we ate and sampled the beer and wine. I would love to return someday. Plenty of places nearby to visit. The village is on a bus route but we used the car to get around

We loved our stay here this weekend.

  • "We had an enjoyable week with two friends at Lifford Coach House."

It was a tasteful barn conversion, with an upside down layout which worked well. The Village had a Deli cafe two minutes in one direction and a pub 2 minutes in the other direction serving good food. The Location was good, with plenty of places to visit. Although the property was quite well equipped - it could be improved by adding hooks to doors in bedroom and bathroom and mirrors near plugs to dry hair after showering. Additional crockery would also be better, as there were only sufficient items for one meal. (4 of everything) Points set aside, we would recommend this property, as it is finished to a high standard. Thank you Rachel.

  • "Really lovely accommodation."

The owners are next door and gave us a great welcome. The property has been done to a high spec and was perfect for 2 couples and a dog. Loads of walks nearby and lovely village to be in.

  • "We absolutely loved the Coach House."

It is almost perfect. A lovely conversion, extremely comfortable and well equipped. If we come to the area again we will most definitely stay at the Coach House. There are a couple of minor changes that we can suggest. One is that there are no mirrors in the bedrooms which was a bit annoying and the other that visitors should be aware that there is no freezer and the fridge does not have an ice box. If we come again we won’t bring any frozen food! Apart from those two things we cannot fault the Coach House. Thank you.

Thank you for you lovely feedback, you i’ll be pleased to know that a freeze has now been installed. Property Owner
