  • "We had a lovely stay overall."

The house is well equipped with a lovely private garden- ideal for kids. It would be a good thing to provide a cot as it took up a lot of space in the car bringing our own. Also the shower in one en-suite wasn’t working and the internet was slow which affected the TV considerably.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. I can only apologise that the shower was not working. We were not aware, and have now had the switch replaced. Also, we have re-booted the router, and the internet is now working fast; as usual. However, if you had let us know at the start of your stay, we could have rectified both of these issues straight away for you. With regard to the travel cot, we did used to provide one, but guests said they wanted to bring their own, and we therefore donated it to charity. Apologies once again, but we are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. Thanks and regards The Owners Property Owner

The property

This fantastic detached country cottage is set in just under one acre of woodland, on a bridleway at the start of the Sandstone Trail, and at the foot of the Overton Hills on the outskirts of the town of Frodsham.

This spacious, contemporary cottage offers a stylish open plan living area, complete with a minstrel’s gallery, vaulted ceiling and double height picture window, allowing the light to flood in.

The granite-effect worktop wraps around the kitchen to provide a generous preparation area as well as a triple seat breakfast bar to sit with your drinks and keep the chef company.

The dining area overlooks a patio and secluded woodland garden, where you can dine alfresco, or relax after a memorable day exploring this beautiful area.

This luxurious cottage has the added benefit of a ground floor double bedroom and shower room, may be suitable for those with limited mobility, as well as two en-suite first floor bedrooms.

The owners have arranged for one day passes for two visitors per stay at a nearby spa and leisure hotel, just five minutes’ drive away, where you can use the swimming pool and gym free of charge, or perhaps utilise the spa facilities, bar and restaurant.

Additional members of the party can buy further day passes if required.

The Frodsham Golf Club is the same distance away and is open to non-members.

There are many fabulous walks from your doorstep, numerous cycle routes, several golf courses and leisure facilities, as well as all the delights of Frodsham with its weekly street market.

With all of this on hand, this delightful and tranquil retreat is the perfect place for a get-together with friends and family at any time of year.
