  • "We had a lovely stay overall."

The house is well equipped with a lovely private garden- ideal for kids. It would be a good thing to provide a cot as it took up a lot of space in the car bringing our own. Also the shower in one en-suite wasn’t working and the internet was slow which affected the TV considerably.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. I can only apologise that the shower was not working. We were not aware, and have now had the switch replaced. Also, we have re-booted the router, and the internet is now working fast; as usual. However, if you had let us know at the start of your stay, we could have rectified both of these issues straight away for you. With regard to the travel cot, we did used to provide one, but guests said they wanted to bring their own, and we therefore donated it to charity. Apologies once again, but we are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. Thanks and regards The Owners Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely property set in a cul de sac bordering on the local hills."

It is quiet and secluded with ample parking and very good security. The house is spacious and two of the three bedrooms have an en suite with the third having access to the ground floor bathroom within feet. It is immaculate and has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. There were six of us and a baby and we didn’t feel that we were on top of each other. I would recommend Dunstable lodge as a perfect base to explore the Wirral and for Liverpool.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Dunsdale Lodge. Many thanks for taking the time to write these comments, and for giving us 100%! It is very much appreciated. Regards The Owners Property Owner

  • "A fabulous property with everything you could wish for."

Many thanks for the welcome gifts. Although the property sleeps 6 in 3 double rooms, there were only 3 of us using all 3 rooms for this rental. Only minor irritation was my 6'1" husband kept banging his head on the ceiling, when he stood up near the bed in the room with the sloped ceiling. Just something to bear in mind for future guests. Minor issues - I found the slimline dishwasher too small even for the 3 of us, if 6 people were staying it would be more of a nuisance, especially if cooking a 3 course meal. Plus there were no large bowls for soup/cereal, which was a surprise. Finally the non stick fry pan has seen better days, a replacement would be a plus! Overall we would definitely return, as the property is ideally situated for visiting our family in Warrington.

Thank you for giving us 100% feedback! It is very much appreciated. We also appreciate you taking the time to let us know about the minor issues. We will certainly look into these, and take action accordingly. We hope to see you again soon, and wish you all best for 2024. Kind regards The Owners Property Owner

This property is incredibly spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners are unobtrusive but on hand should any issues arise. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Thank you so much for giving us 100% feedback and for your kind comments. I will certainly pass your comments on to the team who look after Dunsdale. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, and hope to see you again soon! Regards The Owners Property Owner

It is well appointed and equipped, although some serving spoons would be useful ! The electric gates are a bit tedious (in and out of the drive), but are nodoubt there for a reason. Overall, the property served us all well.

Many thanks for giving us 100% feedback. I will certainly look into the issue of the serving spoons, as there were definitely some in the property. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We look forward to welcoming you back at some point in the future! Regards The Owners Property Owner

This is a superb lodge. Everything is exactly as it shows in the property details. It is spacious and very clean with comfortable beds and all the provided linen. A great booster is the easy spacious off road parking and an EV charging point. This property is a credit to the owners. The location is great too with a huge number of attractions close by locally and with easy access to the motorway network. Frodsham is a lovely market town with all that is needed including many restaurants close by.

Thank you very much for giving us 100% and for your kind words! I will ensure that everyone involved with Dunsdale sees these comments. It is very much appreciated. Thanks and regards The Owners Property Owner

  • "House was great, exactly as stated."

Would definitely use again if in the same area. Owner was very helpful answering questions before we set off. Great to have a car charger available. Feedback - heating was set very warm, even overnight so we had to keep overriding this on the controls (there were instructions not to adjust the radiators which made sense). There was an offer to send someone round to re-program but we didn't want to bother them. House was very well stocked, in fact we brought stuff we didn't need to as it wasn't mentioned in the write up.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback and for scoring us 100%. It is very much appreciated! We will certainly look into the heating settings. We are glad that you found it well stocked, and would like to welcome you back anytime. Regards The Owners Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful 18 days stay at Dunsdale Lodge."

We even had some snow which was exciting for our party of six from Western Australia. The owners were easy to contact and were helpful when needed. Entry to the property was easy with no issues. Instructions were easy to follow. We were a group of three couples so it was nice to have our own rooms and bathrooms. The weather was freezing during our stay but the house was very comfortable and warm. bedding and towels were changed weekly, and it was a bonus to have laundry facilities. We didn’t have a car but there’s plenty of space for a car or two. The garden is nice and big and surrounded by bushes and trees. If you enjoy nature it’s lovely to watch (and listen) to the birds and squirrels in the garden. There are trails and pubs nearby too, Downside: hearing the creaky floors upstairs from downstairs, and the beds were comfy but noisy when you moved around, we think it’s the bases. Wouldn’t put us off staying again though. Very pleasant place with all you need, and more.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. This is the first time that any guests have mentioned the floors or the beds. We will take your comments on board and investigate accordingly. Regards, The Owners Property Owner

The house, built in a former squash court, is modern and slightly quirky (in a good way). It is set in a woodland setting which means in winter it gets little sunlight. All the facilities worked as expected and we enjoyed our stay. Will be high on our list should we return to the area.

Many thanks for taking the time to give feedback from your holiday. It is very much appreciated, and we hope to welcome you back in the summer months next time so you can enjoy the sunshine... Regards, The Owners Property Owner

Most of our meals spent at a local pub with wonderful home cooked food, an unusual name “Ring O Bells” but well worth a visit. Downside was our trips to Chester and Runcorn, most of the shops closed due to COVID-19. Nevertheless, my wife, self, daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter enjoyed celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. The owners of the lodge were extremely helpful. Overall, well recommended.
