  • "House is on an extremely quiet cul-de-sac but a long walk to town centre."

It was adequate for 2 couples but lacked storage space, a freezer, bathroom and en-suite hooks/shelves/towel rail. Garden was lovely, lounge area good and kitchen well equipped.

  • "Stayed over the weekend with my parents and two young children."

My parents arrived earlier than myself and able to move some of the furniture around to make it baby safe. The rooms were clean. And the five of us could comfortably sit/play in the lounge. Lots to do in Ludlow, walked from the property, plus it was the spring festival which was an amazing atmosphere. Only thing is the batteries in the freesat remote need changing.

  • "House very clean and tidy."

No freezer which you would expect. No hooks or rails to dry towels in bathroom or kitchen. No mirror above bathroom washbasin, suggest a small pedestal mirror on window ledge.

  • "A great location within walking distance of the town centre but also easy access to get out and about in the car."

Good off-road parking for 2 cars. Co-op supermarket nearby and we also found a bakery tucked away just across from the co-op. The terraced garden is a real sun trap.

Around a 20 minute walk to the town centre

Excellent hosts would highly recommend so much so we have booked to go back again for 3 weeks.

  • "Very clean and comfortable."

Used twice in recent weeks, for starting new job and bolt-hole whilst moving house. Owners very kind and good communication.

  • "The very newly refurbished property was clean and comfortable but we did have to put up our own washing line, buy a cheese grater, struggled with lack of kitchen utensils and baking trays etc."

Mirrors were needed in the bedrooms and en suite. The garden needs some TLC as it was obviously cut back from being an over grown area with apple trees and large shrubs. It could be made really nice. A guide of where to find GP, emergency medical care, etc would have been really useful as our daughter incurred quite a bad leg injury in the river which required stitches and we had to travel some distance to get this sorted It will be a lovely place to stay when all the little things are sorted. Still would highly recommend the house and particularly Ludlow, our 4th family holiday to this area...love Shropshire!
