"This is a really nice, very spacious apartment with off-road parking, good WiFi and very convenient for food shops, pubs and Sherwood Forest visitor centre."
It is situated above an estate agents but we were not bothered by any noise or inconvenience. The bed was very comfortable as where the 3 sofas in the living room. There were large screen TVs in living and main bedroom. We thought there could be room for making the place better still however. It would be nice to have a bedside table and light on BOTH sides of the double bed. A washing-up bowl would be good and the draining board didn't work very well. We could find only 1 saucepan in the kitchen. In the bathroom there needs to be a non-slip shower mat and a bath mat. Finally we would have liked a net curtain or similar in main bedroom as it was looked out on to the High St.

"Absolutely gorgeous flat!"
Amazing decor and really homely and comfortable. Also everything you could possibly need and more was provided. The host Les was brilliant, really helpful and accommodating.

"Beautifull appartment so well furnished ,one of the best , situated right in the heart of a lovely village with plenty of places to eat and drink."

"Will not hesitate to recommend a stay at 23a High Street, Edwinstowe."
The whole experience was top-notch and couldn't be faulted. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was exceptionally high and the overall comfort was also second to none. The welcome pack extended way over and above what is normally expected. Have used Sykes Cottages several times in the past, and this rental beats the other rentals (which were, by the way, very good also). The village and surroundings meant that everything from shops and pubs/restaurants was on hand. We will certainly be returning several times during the year as we live in Spain and return to the UK regularly to see family.

"Our stay at 23a has been amazing."
We were welcomed by the host who showed us how to use all amenities which were of high quality. Host was also available to contact for any questions if required. The cosy, spacious apartment is delightful and is located in a quaint village with close access to forest for walking/running etc. We will be booking again soon.

Met by our lovely host on arrival, so helpful and great communication throughout our stay. Property is of a very high standard in a great little village full of pubs and restaurant's, also a perfect base for sight seeing. I will recommend to friends and family. You will not be disappointed.

On arrival, two allocated parking spaces welcome you, before making your way through to the garden which has furniture and bike storage, making it ideal for cyclists, or simply those who enjoy sitting outside with a cup of coffee to start the day.
Inside, climb the stairs where you will come to the dining space, and from here, move through to the kitchen where you will find everything you need to rustle up a tasty dinner.
When it is time to rest, the sitting room offers space to unwind in front of the electric fire, but if it is sleep you need, choose from a king-size bedroom with a Smart TV, or a twin which is handy for the children.
When you wake, freshen up in the shower room before planning your itinerary with loved ones in the garden.
