  • "Ample parking."

Lovely location right next to the canal and boatyard and views of these from the sitting room window. Great location for visiting local attractions, Chester and Llangollen recommended, and walks along the towpaths. Dont let first appearances put you off as the building exterior is clad in metal sheets, it is still a working building for the boatyard. Great value for money. Staff are helpful but not intrusive. Only observation is there is a pump (water?) which starts up on occasion and can disturb your sleep in the twin bedroom. Would book again and recommend to family/friends.

  • "This was our second stay at Wrenbury apartments and we thought it was good value for the price."

Disappointing there was no dishwasher but we knew that to be the case. we took our dog with us and he enjoyed daily walks along the tow path along the canal next door to our apartment. Really good views of the comings and goings of narrow boats from our windows. We want to say how much we appreciated the staff on site and of particular note Elizabeth who was 'Barneys' favourite person

  • "A great apartment in a lovely location which was very peaceful overlooking the canal."

The property is on the edge of a very nice village and a short walk to a good pub. The staff on site were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend.

  • "The property was clean, comfortable and warm."

Everything I needed was there. The only drawback was the renters in the other apartment. They went out in the day time and left their dogs in the property. Dogs will bark at unknown noises when they are in a strange place, but these dogs continuously through the day. Suggest the property owners stipulate dogs not to be left unattended in the property. Not fair to the dogs or other people. Thank you. I'm happy for you to publish first part of this feedback, but not suggestion about dogs as this was not a complaint about the property or the property owner

  • "Mill End was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay, thank you to the owners."

The staff at reception were friendly, very helpful if needed but not intrusive. The apartment itself was very clean and well laid out, with everything you might need to have an enjoyable stay. All the bedding etc was of a good quality. It is well positioned with lovely views over the marina and it was very interesting watching the barges on the canal. The village is lovely, there is a nice Cafe in the park and the Dusty Miller is a pleasant pub for a meal and drinks. The local shop is well stocked too. Plenty of good walks in the local area and beyond. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

About the location

WRENBURY

Nantwich 5.5 miles; Whitchurch 6 miles.

The village of Wrenbury is situated in south Cheshire, within reach of both Nantwich and Whitchurch and is on the Shropshire Union Canal. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Wrenbury has a Post Office, shops, two pubs, a church and a village green. Close by is the delightful market town of Nantwich set on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal. It is famous for its outdoor Brine Pool which is one of the few remaining in the UK and heated throughout the summer. There are regular market days throughout the week and a monthly farmers' market showcasing the best of produce from the local area. Nantwich town centre is pedestrianised and benefits from some superb examples of historic buildings, and is well worth visiting in spring and summer when it comes alive with floral displays throughout the streets. Also within reach is Whitchurch, a market town with many splendid buildings, from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, all dominated by St. Alkmund’s Church. Internationally renowned for its clock production dating back to the 1650s, Whitchurch is known as "the Home of Tower Clocks". A lovely base for exploring the area.
