"The location is great, however the accommodation is disappointing."
All brown and beige, cheap lino on the kitchen and bathroom floors, lack of wardrobe space, no shelves in the bathroom, uncomfortable sofa and armchair, beds look very oldfashioned - not what you'd expect for the money spent. Cleaning equipment left in the apartment's hallway. Lovely views, and staff very pleasant.

"The grain store at Wrenbury Mill sits above the chandlery and gift shop and alongside the canal by the bridge."
There are lovely canal and boat views from all windows but particularly from the main bedroom. Lovely and quiet (Feb half term). A perfect base from which to explore both near and far. Some lovely canalside walks - great for dogs. Friendly people. Well stocked local shop. Good pub Dusty Miller across the bridge and great ice-cream at Snugbury's near Nantwich. Had a lovely stay.

"Great place to stay very clean lovely walk on canal close to pub ideal for a little staycation."
My only grime was no wine glasses just tumblers.

"Delightful apartment next to several canal walks and lovely pub."
Apartment was very clean, light and airy. It does however have quite a narrow staircase up to it. Small shop 10 minutes walk. Might benefit from selection of leaflets for places to visit etc as several nearby are closed Mondays and Tuesdays!

"We had a lovely long weekend."
Apartment was great with fabulous views of the canal from the bedroom windows. Everything we needed was included. Hosts were very freindly. Would love to return
-
"A perfect week, easy access to towpath for early morning walks for the dog."
Friendly welcome from The Dusty Miller opposite apartment, as well as a well-stocked village shop nearby. A visit to Nantwich and Chester a real bonus. Very Enjoyable
-
"Lovely friendly helpful staff, interesting place to be, even on wet days, watching the coming and going of the boats."
The stairs are a bit steep so difficult if you have disabilities.

"Lovely location and very friendly staff"
-
"A beautiful apartment, decor and facilities were excellent."
Couldn't fault this property at all. A lovely place for a peaceful break away with the advantage of having a pub over the road with great food and beer! The canal offered lovely walks and a stream of boats to watch, especially the road bridge.

"Great team of ‘can do’ people running a customer focused tourist holiday facility."
Well positioned for long countryside walks (great with dogs) whilst being within 10 minute of Nantwich town centre. The silent entrainment of passing narrow/canal boat traffic was a delight. Could not have asked for more. Well equipped and maintained accommodation don’t need dishwasher/ washing machine/tumble drier - it’s a holiday!!! Will definitely return.m

Spotless and a fantastic shower. Beautiful location. Pub and local shop excellent. Staff very friendly and onside to help with anything.

Where you’ll be staying
WRENBURY
Nantwich 5.5 miles; Whitchurch 6 miles.
The village of Wrenbury is situated in south Cheshire, within reach of both Nantwich and Whitchurch and is on the Shropshire Union Canal. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Wrenbury has a Post Office, shops, two pubs, a church and a village green. Close by is the delightful market town of Nantwich set on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal. It is famous for its outdoor Brine Pool which is one of the few remaining in the UK and heated throughout the summer. There are regular market days throughout the week and a monthly farmers' market showcasing the best of produce from the local area. Nantwich town centre is pedestrianised and benefits from some superb examples of historic buildings, and is well worth visiting in spring and summer when it comes alive with floral displays throughout the streets. Also within reach is Whitchurch, a market town with many splendid buildings, from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, all dominated by St. Alkmund’s Church. Internationally renowned for its clock production dating back to the 1650s, Whitchurch is known as "the Home of Tower Clocks". A lovely base for exploring the area.
