"The listing of this cottage was not accurate, especially at a point that we were looking for specifically, which brought us a problem with the landlords and our guests."

The place is beautiful and clean, but unfortunately, the listing problem ruined our experience to a certain extent.

We would like to clarify some important points regarding your booking. The property listing clearly states that the house is not suitable for parties, and as part of the booking terms and conditions, you agreed to notify us in advance regarding any additional guests. Unfortunately, this condition was not adhered to. While the description mentioned "lively dinner parties," this refers to small gatherings within the allowed capacity of the property. The reservation was made for 6 adults and 2 children, but over 20 external visitors were brought onto the premises, alongside external catering and loud music. This exceeded the maximum occupancy and violated the booking terms. Regarding your understanding of the sleeping arrangements, the property is designed to accommodate up to 8 guests, as specified in the listing. The option to host up to 12 guests is only available when booking the additional lets on the same site. This information is detailed in the listing, and we regret any confusion this may have caused. Due to the property’s location and its proximity to neighbouring homes, we emphasise in our listing that there are to be no parties. To prevent any similar misunderstandings in the future, we have updated the property description for added clarity.
