• ""The View" is a first class holiday let."

  It is very well equipped, comfortable and has a relaxing and private bit of outdoor space with a lovely view. It is within walking distance of a welcoming pub (The Malt Shovel) where you will be amply fed and also a local, well-stocked shop for all your essentials. Access to Hartshill Country Park is just a short walk from the property too. Highly recommended. Will return.

• "Very enjoyable week in rural surroundings overlooking a couple of small ponds and the trees of a nature reserve."

  We saw waterfowl everyday and birds of prey. There appears to be a resident muntjac who enjoyed a daily walk through the field below where he passed the ponds. While the area below "the cabin" is accessible it is very steep as is the path/road from the main road into the property/carpark.

• "‘The View’ was the perfect festive getaway for my partner & I."

  The accomodation is spotless, modern and well appointed. What we particularly liked during our stay was the peace and quiet…. The local restaurant (Malt Shovel) served fabulous food. Overall 10/10 for our stay.

• "Wonderful pre-Christmas stay, everything was perfect."

  The lodges have everything you need and the views over Hartshill Hayes Country Park were beautiful especially at sunset. We were lucky enough to see deer and squirrels during our stay. The local pub/restaurant is footsteps away where the atmosphere, food and service was amazing. We met the lovely owners during our stay who were super helpful & understanding when we realised we had booked one day less than we thought! They were very patient as we checked out late. We would definitely stay again when back in the UK it’s the perfect location for a Midlands base.

• "We had a lovely 4 night stay at The View."

  It is beautifully decorated, has a great comfy bed and is in a lovely location with a peaceful views. The Malt Shovel pub is within walking distance and they do good (huge!) meals and there is also a local shop. But within easy short drive of bigger shops if needed. We visited Stratford-on-Avon and Lichfield and enjoyed both. The owners are so friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend!

• "We had a lovely week in "The View" We have stayed in a lot of rental properties over many years and this has to be one of the best."

  It was very comfortable and the attention to detail was excellent. The view over the small lake was lovely and the wood beyond was a lovely place for a peaceful walk with wild deer. The location is ideal for exploring the area Although we had the most rain ever recorded for the week it was easy to get to local places. We visited Black country museum - Birmingham. Coventry motor museum. Stratford upon Avon, Litchfield. Warwick and there are National trust properties within easy reach, and we did walks along the canals when we had drier weather. If I had to sum up in a few words it would be "Peacefull and Tranquill" We met the owners who were lovely and were there if needed but did not interfere. Thank You

• "Fantastic place to stay!"

  Really quiet and peaceful with a great view of the small lakes, with resident wildlife ( goose, heron, deer, numerous birds...). The lodge is modern and comfortable, with a great bathroom, really comfortable bedroom, also with a good view. Within walking distance of local shops and pub, with Nuneaton a five minute drive where there are large supermarkets if needed, restaurants etc Great place from which to explore the area...Coventry, Leamington Spa, etc Enjoyed our stay immensely...highly recommended.

• "Partner and I needed a weekend away together without any distractions and this was perfect."

• "Fantastic property, we were first to stay in this and its finished to a great standard, very well equipped inc large towels."

  The owners were superb and nothing too much trouble. The View is totally unexpected that you arrive from a village/town road and drive down to the property and all of sudden you are in the countryside with great views and Deer running about. Great place to stop and relax and unwind with amenities on the doorstep
