  • "Property was beautiful."

Everything possible has been done to provide a comfortable base to explore the stunning Dales area.the property was immaculate in presentation, cleanliness and decoration was 10/10 unfortunately the only thing that let it down was that although on a side road it was incredibly noisy from traffic racing up and down. If you have any mobility issues then the steps at the front and the internal stairs are quite steep.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed the cottage. Unfortunately the week you were there the road was busier than usual due to the main road being closed off with emergency roadworks. So sorry for that. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was immaculately presented and very comfortable with a lovely garden."

The "village" of Tupton was more of a town, sadly neither of the two local pubs served food. However, there was an extensive nature reserve within walking distance and we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm so glad you had a lovely time at my cottage. We actually have 3 local pubs that serve food. The Tupton Tap, The Hunloke Arms and the Six Halts all serve excellent food. So glad you found the great walking opportunities in the area. The Five Pit Trail is great to explore. Property Owner

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, so clean and had everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable and our little dog loved the garden. The small town of Tupton is well situated for some lovely days out - highly recommend the Tramway Village and the town of Matlock. Lynn came to meet us when we arrived and she was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage all things required for a lovely stay one problem very cold in bedrooms and kitchen unable to set heating looks like controlled by external hive

I'm sorry you had a problem with the heating, I did explain how it worked when you arrived and if you had any issues don't hesitate to contact me. It's a shame you didn't do the latter and I could have advised you better and your stay would have been as cosy as everyone elses. Sorry again. Lynn Property Owner

  • "A lovely property perfect for exploring the Peak District and larger towns nearby."

Easy to find, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped -everything being new. Couldn't have needed anything else. The enclosed garden was great for the dog and she was very happy with the bowls and treats that were waiting for her. Off-road parking also sealed the deal. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. The host also met us at the property and left us some goodies which we thought a lovely touch. Thanks Lynn. X

The owner met us when we arrived and was very helpful. Perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the front door has two fairly high steps. You can gain access to the back door that is easier to enter but the stairs are quite steep to get to the bedrooms and bathroom.
