  • "We stayed at the cottage for two nights with two small children (Age 5 & 3)."

The owners were really welcoming and helpful, sending information prior to our visit and checking in with us when we arrived. The unexpected snacks and wine were a lovely addition, and very welcome! The children loved the cottage and walking in the field behind, to see the animals. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, big enough for us all and easy to keep tidy. Beds were comfortable too. The location is good for day trips - we did Matlock Bath for Abraham's Heights and Crich tram museum, as well as Monsall and Bakewell. We would definitely visit again.

Thank you for rating us so highly and for the wonderful review giving such helpful info to potential future guests...in particular letting them know they'll get a comfortable bed! It was really lovely to meet you all and it would be our pleasure to welcome you back sometime. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Courtyard Cottage and it had everything we needed."

Great location with plenty of things to see and do within a short drive. The cottage itself is clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and gave lots of recommendations for things to do. The wood burner was lovely for a cold evening and the outside space was perfect for a sunny breakfast!

Thank you for your fabulous review Isobel. We are very pleased you were warm and comfortable during your stay and had everything you needed. We would so like to offer al fresco eating in the sunshine to everyone; sadly we can't...but luckily we can offer the fabulous landscape of the Peak District right from the doorstep. Property Owner
