"A unique and beautifully presented property, especially suited to anyone with an equestrian interest!"
Spacious and light and wonderfully comfortable, with fantastic walks from the front door. The only minor downside is outside space is accessed across the courtyard and is not attached to the property and although there’s a table in the courtyard for guests to use it would be ideal to have a more private outside area accessible directly from the property.

"Lovely stay at the Talbot Lodge!"
Was easy to get to with the directions to the lodge being simple to follow. Beautiful place with lots of amazing features and lots of room for 5 adults, a baby and a dog! Great amount of posted/serving dishes etc for any occasion. Would have been nice if there was some kind of surface spray so that we could clean during our stay and maybe some salt and pepper. Overall an amazing stay and we will be back!!

"Very well appointed, warm and comfortable accommodation."
Plenty of space for 8 guests. Excellent kitchen with comprehensive range of appliances and utensils. Shame the garden was unfinished and not available for use. Pleasant walks available in the vicinity; particularly enjoyed seeing hares and a barn owl on the golf course on early morning dog walks.

Ingestre Lodges
Nestled within the idyllic village of Ingestre, close to Great Haywood in the heart of Staffordshire, is the, Grade II-listed Ingestre lodges. Ingestre Hall has been the home of the Chetwynd-Talbot family who in 1858 inherited the earldom of Shrewsbury and the lodges occupy one section of the quadrangle which forms the ‘New Stables’ building, which was built by the 20th Earl of Shrewsbury in 1886. The lodge features an open-plan living space, complete with contemporary kitchens, living and dining areas enhanced with elegant stylings created by Oscar-winning designer Luciana Arrighi. To the exterior is ample off-road parking and a shared courtyard space with garden furniture. A further outdoor area is through the kitchen door onto shared woodland with an individual dining area with garden furniture. On the edge of the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are a myriad of excellent walking and cycling routes in the local area.
