Located in the historic village of Bradley and part of the grand Bradley Hall estate, Yew Tree Nook is a fascinating and unique luxury grade II listed apartment.

Take in the charming scenery of the surrounding area with walks from your doorstep, or head deep into the Peak District and become lost in the magnificent landscape.

Following the original stone steps down to the front door, enter into the fantastic open-plan living space where you can relax after an activity-filled day, here you can find an excellently equipped kitchen, as well as a large dining area and sitting area with an abundance of character throughout.

Whether you're gathering around for a sit-down meal, or watching a film on the Smart TV, this area is perfect for spending downtime with your loved ones.

As you walk from the open-plan living space to the bedroom areas, you are transported into a unique romantic area settled beneath vaulted ceilings with decorative supporting columns and exposed brick walls, all furnished in a lavish and opulent style.

Enter the beautiful first bedroom and be greeted by a luxurious slipper bath, opposite a cast iron king-size bed covered with warm tapestry and silks with sleek spotlights fitted overhead.

Continue along the corridor, passing through the arches swathed in heavy drapes to be greeted with a king-size zip link bed along with a single day bed with an extra trundle bed beneath, so this distinctive room can sleep up to four guests.

Adjoined to each bedroom is a luxury en-suite shower room with heated demist mirrors and shaver points.

A beautifully architect designed garden lies at the front of the property where you can enjoy a dip in the hot tub before relaxing on the outdoor furniture on a summer evening.

Set off on a walk right from your doorstep, or head to the estate's own lake to do a spot of fishing, being just a short walk from the property, there is a good stock of carp and other freshwater fish.

Nearby, the lovely market town of Ashbourne has all you need for food and essentials, with plenty of local shops and businesses to browse, lined along cobbled streets and a big market square.

For a thrilling day out, head to Alton Towers and enjoy numerous rollercoasters and rides, great for all ages and laying within beautiful grounds.

Watersports enthusiasts can enjoy going to Carsington Water, where canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and several more sports can be enjoyed, as well as having a lovely walking or cycling route around the lake too.

The Dovedale Valley lies at the southern end of the Peak District and is well worth a visit for any keen walkers, with tougher routes for the more practised rambler, as well as easier family walks, and make sure to see the iconic Dovedale Stepping Stones, a beautiful scenic landmark.

Where you’ll be staying

ASHBOURNE

Matlock 15.7 miles; Bakewell 16.6 miles; Chatsworth 20.4 miles.

Lying at the southern end of the Peak District, Ashbourne is a perfect example of an English market town - market place with stalls, eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. In its heyday in the 18th-century, the town was a fashionable social centre, and many fine Georgian buildings remain from this period. Today the town still has much to offer in terms of restaurants and inns and is regarded as something of a haven for antique hunters - but don’t expect a bargain! For those who prefer more outdoor pursuits, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by and for thrill seekers Alton Towers with its exciting collecting of rides and attractions is just a short drive away.
