"A large comfortable flat."
Well maintained and good facilities, but a few things missing- coffee filter, large pans, serving bowls. Bathrooms were boiling, could save money if on less. We’ve been before and will stay again.

"Well what can I say apart from this is probably one of the best if not the best properties I have ever stayed in."
Everything was just spot on. The standard of furnishings, the beds, bedding, towels and the decor was first class. The apartment was spotlessly clean too. Great value for money and I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I would love to move in permanently, it's just perfect.

"We stayed in February with no problems."
Unfortunately this time we had several issues, the toilet in the living room kept running so the plumber had to be called. Also there was no hot water for nearly 24 hours, again the plumber was called. The first night all the alarms in the property went off for no apparent reason. The single beds would be ok for children but rather uncomfortable for adults. Apart from these issues we had a good stay.

"Hi this is our 4th year staying here and it never disappoints!"
Not sure if this the right forum but the dishwasher was not cleaning very well. It was also making a lot of noise. Not sure if it just needs cleaning. Otherwise a lovely stay .
Thank you for your kind feedback and making me aware of the of dishwasher. This had been replaced today. I hope to see you for a fifth time soon!! Property Owner

"We had a great week here!"
The apartment description and photos don't really do the apartment justice as it's very spacious and well equipped with thoughtful touches and exceptionally clean. Rooms are large, very comfortable beds, plenty of storage and the living and dining areas are ideal for 8. Location is great, very easy to walk everywhere and parking is straightforward too. The lift is also great for anyone with mobility issues. We would definitely return for another stay here in Buxton!

"Really great stay."
Flat was clean and tidy on arrival except from some of the dishes in the cupboard looked like they had not been washed up properly by the previous guest but apart from that a really lovely stay. The area around the flat is really nice with the gardens just down the road and a supermarket about a 10 second walk. Would definitely recommend.

"I loved it and I will definitely be back"

"Fabulous as ever!"
Love the nice touches like the tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets - and the box of chocolates! Neat and clean and well equipped - we loved it!
-
"Highly recommended, would stay here again."
We had the loft apartment which was quirky and characterful, with more space than anticipated. Well placed for all that Buxton has to offer. Parking was not a problem.

"Everything was great."
The only thing was we found the automatic hall light in the apartment annoying - it didn't turn on soon enough when entering the apartment, it turn itself on with drafts, and couldn't be overridden.

"I had excellent service I would recommend this apartment to anybody"

About the location
BUXTON
Tideswell 7 miles; Bakewell 12 miles; Matlock 21 miles.
It was the constant 28 degrees centigrade of the bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs that originally attracted the Romans to the town. However it was during the 18th and 19th centuries, under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire, that the Palladian splendour of the Buxton of today was designed and built - including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House. Today visitors continue to enjoy these magnificent buildings and gardens, as well as the Opera House's full programme and annual festivals of music and arts. There is good walking close by with rugged peaks to the north and gentle hills and dales to the south and a number of pretty towns and villages are dotted throughout including Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton and Edale. The stunning properties of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within easy driving distance and must be seen while visiting this area. A great base for exploring the Peak District.
