  • "Churn Dash Cottage is a superb holiday accommodation."

    It is well stocked with everything you'd need. Also there are generous and thoughtful extras supplied to make the holiday stay most enjoyable. The owners are really friendly and made arrival simple and informative. Access to pubs, shops and the like is easy yet the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet.

When sleep calls, two well-presented bedrooms provide the perfect place to rest your head; one king-size bedroom has its own en-suite so you won't be short for places to freshen up, while the twin bedroom benefits from a zip/link feature for a flexible sleeping arrangement, and electric controls, making it ideal for a multi-generational family holiday.

There's also a family shower room, fit with a walk-in shower so you can rinse off after a busy day.

Outside, take advantage of the beautifully manicured gardens, and take a dip in the hot tub, or make use of the outdoor bar to finish off the evening.

If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful cottage, there are plenty of walking and cycling as well as nearby golfing opportunities in the area, or you can head outside of the village for attractions and dining options.

Belper is a charming market town home to a variety of interesting attractions; the Belper River Gardens are a lovely spot for a walk, and Eyes Meadow is a great place for a picnic, while history buffs will enjoy the Strutt's North Mill Museum, one of the oldest mills in the country.

Matlock is a charming market town perfect for a day out of exploring.

There are plenty of attractions to keep you busy, including the Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath Aquarium and arcade, and for children and animal-lovers, Matlock Farm Park.

Churn Dash Cottage is a superb choice for a memorable break to Derbyshire.
