"Had a lovely week and the cottage was perfect."
-
"Geoff and I and our guests were delighted with the cottage."
Comfortably furnished and with every kitchen utensil we could possibly need. The kitchen was spacious and so were the bedrooms, the beds were comfy and so were the sofas in the living room. A bonus was having the garden, definitely a must have for smokers like myself! All in all we had a splendid week, visiting places such as the Victorian village, RAF Cosford. and the nearby museums.
Thank you very much for the excellent feedback, really appreciated and glad you enjoyed the area and stay at the cottage Property Owner

"Delightful quaint cottage in very peaceful countryside."
Lovely host. The availability of the car charger was a real bonus. A real find we shall look forward to visiting again.
-
"Owner was very friendly."
Cottage was just what we wanted, in a good location. Enjoyed our stay.

"We had an excellent stay at the cottage."
Lovely weather 10 minutes to Bridgnorth no complaints will be going back again it’s a beautiful cottage
-
"We enjoyed a comfortable stay in Eudon Burnell Cottage."
Sarah, very friendly, popped round early evening on the day we arrived to say hello and ensure everything was ok. A big bonus for us was the use of a Type 2 tethered charger for our electric car. A very peaceful location, only the occasional vehicle passing on the single track road outside the cottage. We loved hearing the varied birdsong in the garden. Well equipped spacious kitchen with a lovely view from the window, some freshly laid eggs, tulips & a bottle of Prosecco. We had a fabulous week of wall to wall sunshine to explore the lovely countryside, English Heritage & National Trust properties. A week wasn’t long enough to visit all the attractions! We would love to stay again if the opportunity arose.
-
"The cottage is full of character in a very quiet location along a single-track lane and with beautiful countryside views; we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden watching the varied birdlife."
However, there are lots of amenities nearby and fascinating places to visit and we were well aware from the start that one week would definitely not be enough! Sarah is a lovely host, friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the fresh eggs from the nearby farm and the bottle of prosecco. One important factor in choosing this cottage was that EV charging is provided and this was freely available to us for a very reasonable charge. Thanks for everything, we'd love to return!

"What a great cottage in a fabulous location."
Will miss the view from the kitchen very much. If anyone is looking for a traditional country cottage, this is it. Loved it and will return.
-
"Owners v helpful as usual."
In the interest of completeness: previous tenant failed to clean one saucepan properly. Door handle to bedroom falls off.
Thank you very much Nigel for your helpful feedback- we appreciate this as one of our regular customers Bedroom doorknob is now fixed and we will ensure that all utensils are reviewed at each change over by cleaning team . Property Owner

"We had the most delightful stay at Eudon Burnell Cottage thanks to the cosy log burner, great service appliances like washing machine, tumble dryer, large bathroom and most of all such wonderful hosts that helped make our stay a real pleasure."
We're looking forward to coming back here to further explore the beautiful surroundings and hopefully enjoy a few BBQ's in the garden.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and our host could not have been friendlier."
The property is very homely and perfect to come back to after a day on the hills. Some fixtures and fittings are showing their age, but that just adds to the charm. Beds and sofas are comfortable and the location is blissfully quiet.
-
"Beautiful and comfortable cottage in a picturesque and peaceful location."
The owner was easy to communicate with, quick to respond and incredibly helpful too.
-
"Lovely Cottage in a rural and peaceful lane."
Great for country walks, especially if you have a dog. The beds were very comfortable and sitting infront of the log burner in the evening after a day of sightseeing was very relaxing. Nice fully equipped kitchen with a big dining table. Only 3 miles from Bridgnorth, very handy as we went into town most days. Sarah was very friendly, and we will be back next year. Thank you. Oh, and we highly recommend High Town Grill fish and chip shop. The best fish and chips!!!

"We spent three lovely weeks at Eudon Burnell."
The weather was great, which always helps of course ;) The cottage is in a rural setting so you do need some form of transportation to get you anywhere. Sarah, the owner, was very helpful and came round to change sheets and towels and to check if we were okay - especially when the water pressure went down, she provided us with plenty of bottled water. Beds were nice, space was quite good for a family of four and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the swallows nesting under the roof.

"Lovely peaceful retreat."
Very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. Great garden for picnics and games with the granddaughters but also some shade for the pup, although a secure fence within the hedge would be an advantage. Owner very helpful, flexible, and generous - free range eggs and Proseco left for our enjoyment.
-
"Very comfy, well-equipped traditional cottage in very quiet rural location, ideally placed for visiting Shropshire towns such as Ludlow, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury, as well as Bridgnorth."
Good for nature lovers, with deer seen in the lane, hedgehogs in the garden, skylarks in the field opposite and house martins nesting in the eves.
-
"A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location."
The cottage came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean and well looked after. The enclosed garden was perfect for our young children. It's location meant it is the perfect base to explore Stropshire as it was only 30 minutes drive maximum to reach everywhere we wanted to visit whilst being located in the quiet and picturesque countryside. The owner was the most amazingly friendly lady who was easy to contact and was most welcoming. The fresh eggs and bottle of wine were lovely touches too. We had a lovely week here and would defiantely stay again next time we visit the area. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit Shropshire.

"Upon arrival the Cottage was warm and welcoming."
It is in a peaceful location set in beautiful surroundings with lovely views. Sarah the host is lovely and very helpful. The rooms are very cosy and cleanliness is of a very high standard. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. Bridgnorth is just a short drive away and has a good choice of supermarkets and independent stores. Thank you for a super stay!

"Its like staying at your grannys."
..you know your going to be well looked after! Above & beyond kitchen utensils & crockery, even a slow cooker! The owners were extremly helpful! Lots around for the kids including habberley adventure trail & baggeridge country park.
-
"Unfortunately had to end our stay early due to the amount of times we had to rearrage our day to accommodate workmen sometimes at very short notice."
We welcome feedback and have already discussed the issue raised by customer. There were 2 appointments cancelled at short notice due the gas engineer having family Covid related issues which could not be avoided and completely understandable in this period of Covid 19. The work due to be carried out was essential maintenance. A further appointment was arranged in consultation with the customer at their convenience. Customer feedback did not identify any other issues with the holiday cottage during stay. Property Owner

"Wonderful location for the perfect getaway from it all, but near enough to places of interest to access a day out."
-

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Eudon Burnell."

-
"Lovely quiet spot for a week away from the hustle and bustle of daily life."
-
"The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, and the weather was good so we were able to enjoy the garden and rural setting."
The owners were very helpful and responsive.
-
"Fantastic cottage and we loved the location, so peaceful but ten mins to Bridgnorth which is a lovely place."
-
"Lovely cottage in quiet, rural location (although only a 15 minute drive to Bridgnorth)."
The garden is an absolute gem! The owners, who live near by, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Thank you so much.
-
"Perfect location."
Extremely good accommodation - sightseeing by day, home to sit by log burner at night. A perfect holiday.
-
"This cottage was in a lovely quiet location down a narrow lane with no passing traffic."
The best way to reach the cottage is from the B4363 and not the B4364 as recommended by Sykes. The lane is much shorter approaching from the B4363 and avoids some of the holes in the lane. This cottage had a very well equipped kitchen including everything you could need. Beds were comfortable and due to the quiet location slept very well. I would definitely stay here again.
-
"Wonderful area to visit and will definitely return to the area, however not to this cottage."
The double bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever! The cottage is very small and dated. On a positive note, there was plenty of crockery and cutlery for the 5 of us.
-
"A lovely centre for so much."
We were overwhelmed by the amount of interesting places.
-
"The cottage was a wonderful place to stay."
The garden was big enough for our puppy and children to play and there were plenty of places to go for a walk. The owner of the cottage was extremely friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
-
"It was a lovely cosy cottage with everything you'd need for a break."
Thanks very much Margaret and Sarah.
-
"Often, some cottages have "low end" range of kitchen goods (cooker, microwave, Washington machine etc), but the equipment at this cottage was exceptionally good."
-

About the location
BRIDGNORTH
Much Wenlock 8 miles; Ironbridge 15 miles; Shrewsbury 20 miles; Ludlow 20 miles; Church Stretton 20 miles.
The market town of Bridgnorth lies in two very distinct halves - the High Town and the Low Town - separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the town is built. The two halves are connected by winding streets and flights of steps, or there is always the steep funicular railway, enabling the weary traveller to glimpse what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom". A bustling Saturday street market provides an ample excuse to explore the town and examine the castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Flowing below is the River Severn, providing many pleasant riverside walks. The Severn Valley Railway runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, and runs a variety of steam and diesel engines through picturesque country stations. In the areas surrounding Bridgnorth, there are a wealth of country parks, impressive houses, museums and picturesque Shropshire villages, as well as easy access to The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford, and Ironbridge Gorge, with its 10 museums and striking landscape. The area offers excellent walking, and with the popular destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton all within easy reach, it is ideal for a visit any time of the year.
This property will accept 1 well behaved Dog - there is an additional £25 per week supplement
