  • "The property was just what we wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends."

Clean and comfortable. Perfect set up for a dinner party, with very well equipped kitchen and open plan space downstairs. Even bigger than it appears in the pictures. Walking distance into centre for shops/pubs/restaurants. Check in and out with key box was simple, and contact with owner was prompt and professional.

  • "This is a very comfortable and spacious house with a very large, fully open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room downstairs."

The house is extremely well equipped, with a very high-spec kitchen, enormous tv, and loads of storage. The new and very substantial summer house in the garden was very useful for us as a place to play our musical instruments without bothering those in the open plan area, or, hopefully, the neighbours. The house is in a cul de sac in a modern housing estate, so if you're looking for rural or characterful, this isn't it; but the area is quiet and makes a handy base for trips into the Peak District. You can walk up a large moorland hill straight from the front door. The weather was getting colder but the house was warm, with lovely underfloor heating, and there's a very enjoyable large bath as well as excellent showers. The owner was helpful and friendly. Altogether, we had a very comfortable and pleasant week.

Well equipped and clean. David (owner) was extremely helpful in answering our (probably very silly) questions! Great base for a holiday.

  • "The house is one of the best we have ever stayed in during over 20 years of cottage holidaying."

Spacious, spotlessly clean. A great place for us and our 2 dogs. If we have one very small criticism it would be for all bedrooms to have mirrors, unless we missed them. The welcome package was lovely and much appreciated. We would definitely book it again if staying in the area.

Philip thank you for taking the time to review us. Really glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback. Property Owner

  • "Wow!! What a beautifully impressive property"

. Deceptively bigger than any of the photos or outside of the house looks. Inside it's gloriously spacious, well presented, comfortable - the perfect setting for our extended family to come together. Compared with other places our family has stayed Moor View was immaculately clean and well stocked. Great communication from David & Sally too.

Samantha - really appropriate you taking the time to review Moor View. Glad enjoyed the property and had a great time catching up with your family. Property Owner
