The property is conveniently located for walks from the door, places to eat, and 7 pubs all popular with walkers etc. Space for one vehicle off-road parking means you can come and go without having to worry where you are going to park on return or pay in the public car parks. Cottage was warm and we turned the radiators off more than once without feeling cold. Welcome pack of milk, wine and quality chocolates was a nice thought and appreciated. Overall an enjoyable stay even in a very wet weather period we were able to enjoy a relaxing week. We would book again in the future.

  • "Little Bargate is an absolute gem in a perfect location."

With a central kitchen and two reception rooms, it offered perfect space for the two of us and our dog. The double bedroom and large adjoining bathroom at first floor level was very comfortable. Access to the terraced garden at the rear offered a very peaceful location to enjoy a drink or two. The information sheets in the property left by the owners were very informative allowing us to take advantage of many local amenities, in particular the delivered Indian take-away and dog friendly pubs.

  • "Lovely cottage and a warm welcome."

Although the weather could have been better we still had an enjoyable break. We have both said that we would like to return to Little Bargate Cottage again.
