  • "Really enjoyed our stay!"

Cosy home. Great location. Always found parking on the street down the road. Tastefully decorated. All items seemed brand new or excellent condition. Excellent communication from owner Handy to have washing machine with pods and softener. Lovely to have complimentary coffee etc, biscuits and cereal. Things to note: Beds were uncomfy: I find this with metal frame beds. The sheets on one of the beds were wet but we arrived early enough and the radiators were excellent so we removed it and dried it quickly. I have a pet allergy and could tell there had been a pet in there. Perhaps somewhat unavoidable in pet friendly homes. More rugs to save feet from the stone floor, as beautiful as it is. Noise from the road as right on street but this made an excellent location. I know many rentals don’t stock anymore but basic food items such as salt, pepper, oil would be so handy. There were no liners for kitchen bin but perhaps just an oversight as description said there would be some. Would be good to have boot rack to save the floor from our walking boots. Back of house shares access with neighbouring shop, didn’t know this and panicked when someone walked past. Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to the area, thank you.

Thank you so much for your review. We have taken note of all the points you have made and will do our best to upgrade the property. In regard to the bed sheet, I do apologise about this and have address this and the bin liners, with our cleaners to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future. We are so glad you had a lovely stay at Bourne Cottage ☺️ Property Owner
