The owners have gone above and beyond in supplying first class amenities and equipment for their guests. From the extremely comfortable reclining sofa and chairs in the lounge, the linen bed sheets and the extensively equipped kitchen no expense has been spared. The garden was beautiful even in October, the home made cakes scrumptious and the games room great fun. Only a short walk to Ludlow town centre and ample parking at Sunningdale. There was absolutely nothing missing, wish we had booked two weeks. Some nice bits on sale at Ludlow market, and an interesting day out at the Victorian village museum in Ironbridge.

The two shower rooms were a bonus. " There is an Air fryer and other gadgets and no shortage of dishes. We could not find one fault. The Games Room was good on a rainy day. Everything was done to the highest standard. The owners are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. . The kitchen is equipped with a vast range of high quality equipment, and the next door owners have ensured all the guidance for the house facilities and information about the area are to hand. The location was quiet but very handy for getting to main roads with Sainsbury's just over the roundabout on the A49. We received a lovely welcome pack including home-baked cakes/biscuits with, thoughtfully, a list of ingredients should anyone have allergies. • "We found the downstairs dark."

The downstairs shower had an inadequate flow and couldn’t be used. Recycling instructions were specific and a rubbish bin with divisions would have been helpful. Possibly the lower left oven was not working - no light showing. On the plus side, the Christmas decorations, cakes and wine were much enjoyed. The towels were of a good quality, the beds comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped. 10 minute walk into Ludlow and parking as described but area surrounding the house not especially attractive.

Thank you so much for your appreciation of the decorations and welcome pack also the very glowing praise of the towels, comfortable beds plus extremely well equipped kitchen, we agree that the 10 minute walk into town and parking for 3 cars is a bonus. On reading your feedback we checked the shower and cooker, the shower dial had been changed from how we normally leave it, to now show a very low setting, and the cooker was set on delayed timer setting and so would not come on, after correcting these wrong settings both shower and cooker worked perfectly. We do not think either shower or cooker difficult to use, but accept that if someone is unfamiliar to them they may need help and as such we leave a set of instructions in a folder on the side cupboard in the hallway. Also we only live next door and always tell all guests which included yourself this fact and are only too pleased to give any help needed. We are only sorry that you did not inform us of your difficulty as we would have been only too pleased to have been of assistance and would have helped in moments to save you any inconvenience. Unfortunately the local council dictate how the rubbish has to be presented for recycling and it is not possible to use bins with divisions, even if we knew what is meant by that. We also agree that winter can seem darker and make everything seem more unattractive but summer will soon be here. Property Owner

Home has beautiful gardens and we made the most of them after a day out to sit out with a cuppa on the patio, with only the sounds of the birds in the pergola. Once battle with the Covid situation has been won we hope to return to fully enjoy the wonderful historic sites that Shropshire has to offer. Would recommend Stokesay Castle, book a day tour on the Severn Valley Heritage Railway and visit RAF Cosford Museum. It's also very quiet even though it's just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Ludlow and 5 minutes from the train station. The garden is also great with lots of little nooks and crannies to sit in during the day or to relax in after a day at the market. The historic market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amidst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. With more than 500 listed buildings, the town provides a fascinating range of architecture including Ludlow Castle which is over 900 years old and is one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Today the castle is open all year round and hosts a wide range of events including outdoor theatre, food, art and literature festivals and many antique and art fairs. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers a large public riverside green and weir and provides excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe located right on the riverside. Ludlow has held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. More than forty stalls selling a range of goods including fresh produce, cheeses, books and a selection of local crafts are on offer with the 'Local to Ludlow' produce market some Thursdays and an Antique & Flea market some Sundays. Ludlow is also a gourmet’s paradise and a shopper’s dream. The town boasts many places to eat and drink, as well as a number of exclusive boutique style clothes and gift shops.
