"I don’t know where to start."
I’ve seen on other reviews for Otherton Hall - the word WOW. But it really is most apt.
Directions - spot on, communication with both Jay and Demi before arrival - spot on.
Met by Demi, charming, friendly, informative, welcoming.
The house is just gorgeous. So well thought through, everyone bedroom gorgeous - no short straws for anyone.
The kitchen was so well equipped, so many fridges!
Loved the drinks area.
Enough space for everyone to sit together in the lounge. Very comfortable in the cinema room.
We did dance moves in the basement disco.
We had a pub quiz on the top floor - such a lot of fun.
We were there to celebrate my 60th with our children, partners, and grandchildren.
The pool is just perfect - temperature, size, facilities.
The best family holiday ever.

"We visited in January when the weather largely confined us to the house."
No problem, the games room and pool kept everyone entertained during the day whilst the cellar bar and disco entertained us all at night, after first enjoying an evening meal around the 16 seater dining table. And then to bed in the large very comfortable bedrooms. Our only minor criticism would be that the kitchen requires an extra sink near the drinks area. Our party of 16 thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"This is an outstanding property which has been wonderfully restored."
Facilities are very good but some of the kitchen equipment could do with an update. That is being very hypercritical!
The pool area is fantastic and we enjoyed using the games room. The "cellar" bar got some use though I am not sure the neighbours would have approved of our family karaoke. Beds are very comfortable with great linen/towels. Jay ( the owner) met us on arrival and gave us the full tour and it was great to chat with him about the restoration. Ours was only a small family get together but this place is probably more appropriate for 10+ guests and makes for a great atmosphere

"We had the most amazing stay at Otherton Hall."
The standard of the property was outstanding and the children loved the pool area. We did have a power cut due to the storm but the owners were with us within the hour to make sure everything was ok. Very impressive house and we will definitely return.

"Stunning accommodation where attention to detail has been applied everywhere."
The kitchen is well equipped with x2 freezers and fridges and drinks fridges galore (here and in the bar / games room). The dining room has the largest dining table I’ve ever seen outside a stately home and we had Lee Lance (private chef) cook a brilliant meal for us on the Saturday. The bedrooms and en-suites are large and luxurious with very comfortable beds. The games room / cinema room and cellar bar are brilliant. Our top area has to be the pool which is just amazing - large / warm / dressing room and loo in the same area / towels galore and inflatables galore - there’s also a lovely sauna. Our grandchildren spent the weekend in the pool and didn’t want to leave. Jay the owner was helpful and very informative as to how this listed farm building had undergone such a glorious transformation.
A fabulous place to stay as a treat / celebration and we cannot recommend it highly enough. I hope we can go back for longer than a weekend in the future.

"We enjoyed 4 nights at this wonderful property to celebrate my father in laws 70th."
The house was furnished to a high standard and we all enjoyed the ample space. The swimming pool and sauna was a huge hit as was the games and cinema room. The bar downstairs was also a great feature! The added touches were thoughtful, all the floats in the pool area, robes and the Xbox and games, there was no need to bring any of our own entertainment! Sadly we did not get a chance to use the outdoor BBQ and firepit, maybe next time! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

"A fantastic property and perfect for a multi-generational family gathering."
Everything was fitted out to an exceptionally high standard and everything had been thought of. The pool was obviously a huge hit, as was the cinema room and the party room. What a treat too for us all to sit around such a great big dining table. No need to leave the house at all!!

"Fantastic house and is better than the pictures."
We were met at the house when we arrived and were shown around which was a really nice touch. The house is really well appointed and spacious. 4 families were in our group 8 adults and 7 children. Great venue for meeting up. Can’t fault the place and will look to come back and will recommend to friends and family.

"It was my husband’s 70th birthday and we had a family get together for the week."
On one day we had extra guests for the day for a celebration which the owners were very happy for us to do. Everything went very smoothly and the owners were very helpful in providing everything we needed. We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived and we had an amazing week. Otherton Hall is a truly amazing place to stay with all its facilities and Brett even kindly came to sort out an issue with the pool cover on a bank holiday weekend. We would certainly recommend the property to others. Thanks for a truly amazing week.

"I cannot fault how amazing the house was."
Was perfect for my hen do for 15 people. The house was spotless and so well maintained. There’s nothing the house didn’t have that we needed! The pool sauna area was so special to have access to. The host was very helpful and hospitable and were super communicative the whole way through. I will definitely be finding an excuse to return here, the best booking I’ve ever made!

"This property is truly stunning Everything is so well thought out from the games room, cinema room to the night club and swimming pool with sauna and its own changing room, shower and toilet!"
The dining room seats 14 very comfortably., the table and chandelier were gorgeous which made our family dinners even more special! I cannot fault anything with this property and will look forward to many family trips here!

"We had a fantastic stay here with friends and family for my girlfriend’s 40th Birthday."
Such a stunning property built to such a high specification.
The only point to note is the fridge in the kitchen is quite small for the size of the property but there are other fridges around the property which we were able to utilise.
The pool was incredible

"The house was amazing and we felt so lucky to have stayed here, it was the perfect place for a family celebration."
Jay met us at the house and immediately made us feel welcome. Every room has the wow factor and Jay has thought of everything - from a well equipped kitchen, to an amazing dining room, a lounge that comfortably seats everyone and spacious en-suite bedrooms (no fighting about who gets the best room as they are all lovely!). The pool, sauna, games room and cinema room meant there was no need to leave the house all weekend. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

"We had the best time at Otherton Hall."
The house was so spacious with huge bedrooms for everyone, and it was designed incredibly with everything you need for a few nights away. The games room and the pool meant we barely left the house - we’ll definitely be back!

"We had a great family stay at Otherton Hall for my parents 80th birthday."
Owners were very responsive and helpful before and during the stay. House has been newly renovated to a high standard and feels like a boutique hotel - beds and large and comfortable, bathrooms beautifully decorated, kitchen and dining area all beautifully finished. Robes provided in eac bedroom for popping down to the pool. Pool area was great - kids (and the adults) loved it. We walked along the canal to the local pub and also along the disused railway line - both great. Overall a great weekend hanging out with family with lots of fun across all 3 generations.

"What can I say other than 5☆ , We had a wonderful new year at Otherton Hall, stunning house with fabulous facilities ."
Jay the host was very welcoming when we arrived ,showing us around the house. The grandchildren had a ball in the swimming pool,games room etc.We would definitely luv to stay there again.
Only one thing missing was large cooking pan ,we were a family of 14 and we used all the pans when cooking dinner but could of done with a big stew pan. Other than that everything was perfect. Chrissy Coulson

Otherton Hall, nestled in Otherton near Penkridge, Staffordshire, is a grand Grade II listed Georgian Farmhouse.
Enjoying a superb location within easy reach of the Cannock Chase AONB, and the popular destinations of Wolverhampton, Stafford and Telford, Otherton Hall is a fantastic choice for a large family or group of 16.

Just a short drive away you will find the stunning surroundings of the Cannock Chase AONB, where you can test out your swing at the excellent golf clubs, embark on a bike ride on the scenic mountain bike trails, delve into history at The Museum of Cannock Chase, or tour the magnificent National Trust site of Shugborough Hall.
