  • "A lovely stay at Dairy Cottage."

The cottage is very well-equipped and comfortable, it had everything we needed. And spotlessly clean too. The owners were helpful & quick to respond to queries, both before & during our stay. The woodland was great for our dog, great to have that on the doorstep. A slight downside was the lack of enclosed garden for the dog, but we knew that when booking. Also useful to have access to an outside 3-pin socket for charging the car overnight. All in all, a great property.

  • "A really lovely cottage which has been immaculately equipped to hotel-like standards."

The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome; nothing seems too much trouble. The cottage is in a corner of an old farm quadrant part of which is now a pre-school day nursery. There's a lovely positive playful sound from the children (but could be a downside if you don't like the sound of children playing). The nursery closes at 6pm after which our children were allowed to use the soft play facilities and gardens. A real bonus was the use of the tennis court and access to the 50 acre wood opposite the cottage. The walk around the perimeter was about 1.3 miles and was a great place to walk our dog. All in all, a wonderful stay which felt like a proper break away from home. We hope we can book again next year.

  • "Excellent Cottage, really comfortable and everything you could possibly need."

We had a very enjoyable stay and little 2 year old Lilly loved the ballpond/play gym. The owner is very helpful.

  • "Very cosy and homely - everything you need."

Children enjoyed use of the nursery facilities next door and the tennis court. Owners are very friendly and on hand to help with anything.

  • "Ideal location for us to visit family."

Really enjoyed using the tennis court which was a great bonus and our toddler grandson loved the nursery facilities. General facilities were good. The main bedroom had a king size very comfortable bed but unfortunately our daughter and son-in-law did find the upstairs beds less comfortable. Downside was no conventional garden area and outlook from the lounge area, but plenty of open space with the woodland, and Bothy, across the road were again unusual and useful resource. The owners were on hand to resolve any issues and were very friendly and helpful. We Enjoyed our stay.

  • "Great cottage that was enjoyed by a family over the Christmas period."

Quick responses from the owner when we struggled to locate the property in the December dark! Great facilities and plenty of room in the living room / kitchen. The bothy in the woodland area was a nice touch and would be perfect as a summer bbq hideout!

  • "We had such a good holiday the kids had a ball in the ball pit and soft play area."

Very generous of the owners to allow access to these facilities. The cottage itself was lovely barn conversion with everything you need. Fresh towels and crisp bed linen just topped it off. Access to the all weather tennis court was a bonus as well. Saving the best till last... the 'hidden' bothy in the woodland owned by the hosts was the highlight. chilling out with the kids in front of a log fire after exploring the woods was wonderful. Cannot recommend this cottage and the hosts Mike and Sharron highly enough.

  • "A lovely cottage with fantastic beds, a massive comfy sofa, all the facilities you could need, and extremely welcoming and helpful hosts."

A great base from which to explore Shropshire and Wales. We had a couple of minor teething problems with the cottage (we were only the 3rd guests they'd had) but these were swiftly sorted by the owners, who live onsite and who couldn't have been more helpful. As an EV owner, it was hugely convenient having a 3-pin external plug right outside the cottage, and the owner was kind enough to allow us to charge our car when required.
