WiFi is not good and the TV in the small area would not work because of it . We had great weather so it didn’t bother us but if it was winter and you wanted to watch a film it would be a difficult All the rooms are lovely and there is lots of space . Fantastic for a large family group . This is our second visit .

  • "Seventeen of us had a wonderful long week-end at Rosehill Manor."

It was spacious, extremely comfortable and the lovely owners Jane and Phil were on hand next door should we have had any queries. We didn't. The children loved the trampoline and slide and everyone became very competitive with the table football, snooker and ping-pong. But best of all was the swimming pool. Whenever someone was not to be seen, the first place to look, successfully, was the pool. We were celebrating a family occasion so it was particularly special to be able to all sit down and eat together around the dining room table. Hopefully we'll be able to go to Rosehill Manor again.

  • "We had a really enjoyable week with our large family of 17, with 8 children 3-12."

Phil and Jane were the best hosts we have ever had! - friendly and helpful at all times. The house was very well equipped - we particularly enjoyed the table tennis and the pool table, and the swimming pool though small was good fun - the kids loved swimming against the tide, and the garden was interesting and very popular when it was fine enough to be out in it. The chlorine was quite strong at times but Phil was happy to adjust it. The road was very busy but couldn't be heard from the bedrooms - and there were fairly quiet roads and tracks for running and walking . It took us a while to find the thermostat for the heating - we were rather warm for the first few days so it would have been helpful to have been alerted to that! One single bed was rather creaky - room 6 or 10- so couldn't be used. Overall it was a great week! Sue

The large industrial style kitchen was great for cooking for so many. The pool table, swimming pool and hot tub were much in demand and it was lovely to see the young ones off their phones so much!! Highly recommend this house for a large group

  • "Decking area needs a clean as very slippery, food warmer in kitchen not working (no plug on it)."

Signs at pool not to open door, chlorine fumes overpowering at one stage, when we spoke to owners they said oh you could open door. no soap at sinks in bedroom, just small guest soaps would be good. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay x

We assumed you were happy with your stay and appreciate your comments given during our conversation when leaving. The chlorine issue does happen when a pool is well used which is why it is regularly checked and monitored , We did tell some guests upon arrival that the door could be opened but as the sign clearly states it needs to be kept locked for security reasons . The decking was slippery ( again this was pointed out upon arrival ) but it is difficult when it is so wet at this time of year , but will look into what we can do to make it less slippery for future groups Obviously we are happy that you did enjoy your stay Phil and Jane Property Owner

  • "We came to Rosehill manor for a 21st Birthday celebration weekend."

The age range for our group of 16 was 21 to early 60's. The manor offered something for everyone. There was plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the weekend. We were super lucky with the weather, so enjoyed using the grounds to play outdoor games we brought with us. The pool was a huge hit with all ages, as was the hot tub. We were greeted on arrival, shown around and given instructions for using the appliances made aware we could make contact with owners if needed and then left to enjoy our weekend. Good spaces for large groups. Good location for shopping and takeaways. Road next to the manor was busy but didn't disturb anyone. We had a fantastic time. Rosehill provided everything we needed and Phil and Jane were super welcoming. Highly recommended.

Kitchen was well equipped with fridge, freezer, two dishwashers, two big sinks. We thoroughly enjoyed all the facilities and had a memorable time. Waves in the Pool is really unique and enjoyable. Garden is beautiful. we felt price was also quite reasonable for big group for 3 nights. I am going to certainly recommend to friends and family.

  • "What a wonderful weekend we spent at this mansion made perfectly to fit our extended family."

We filled every bedroom and had 19 of us ranging from 2 to 88 years. It was everything we could have wished for to entertain us all. The snooker table was in constant use and perfectly placed to ensure everyone could join in as competitor or observer. The pool was a hit for solo use, or with a crowd in with the kids. While that was busy, just a few could escape to the quieter hot tub and enjoy the wonderful weather we were lucky enough to have. We managed a lunch out on the patio, where there were plenty of chairs and tables to fit us all. Shame we couldn't BBQ but who knew the weather was going to be so good this early in the year. It was great to have completely enclosed safe gardens for the kids to run around in. The kitchen was perfectly equipped to cater for us all and we used it to capacity. Great to have 2 dishwashers and the huge belfast sinks. More dishcloths/ scrubbers a request and a bread knife. The fridge capacity was fantastic and the oven, hot cupboard, grill combo perfect for us all. Although we didn't spend much time in the bedrooms they were comfortable, spacious, fantastic to have ensuites for everyone. Thanks so much for wonderful hospitality. I'd definitely recommend this luxury break for a larger gathering than normal!

They went above and beyond even to the point we had a food shop delivery that came earlier than we had arrived and they put everything away for us! The grounds are incredible and love the countryside look and feel from log burner fires even to the decor it was very fitting. Sofas were filled with the hen party lounging and spread out all cosy with even some catching zzz's. The people in the area when we ventured out were so friendly and even at the restaurant we went to, Pickles Indian Restaurant went above and beyond with a waiter offering and then taking a couple of the hens back to the Manor because they were feeling unwell. The kitchen is large and well suited to catering for 20. Bedrooms are comfortable, although would benefit from black out blinds. The dining room and lounge are well suited to large family groups. The house was very convenient with multiple spaces for the different age ranges to occupy but also to convene as one. When doors were closed it felt as though areas were sound proofed which was a god send! The swimming pool may have been small but the younger kids loved it, as did the the others when swimming against the current. A lot of time was spent on the pool table and playing table tennis. The garden patio was smashing with plenty of space for everyone to chill and hang out. The hot tub was a complete added bonus. There was a separate garden for younger children with a trampoline and swings too. Lots of wildlife to see, including teeny frogs and a bird of prey! (We think it was a falcon) living spaces were comfortable and cosy, we would hang out in the conservatory in the evening with the doors open. The kitchen was completely kitted out, so able to save a fortune by eating at home. Beware this option with 19 takes up a lot of time and energy! I would recommend cleaners and an online shop ready on arrival. Lots of space for parking cars, completely private. The week was so much fun. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any criticisms? - place is dated and not all the windows would open. Situated on a busy road so not handy to go out for walks. Would be better with black out blinds. All in all I would recommend, a family friendly place.

This led us to a false sense of security until we needed to use it!
