"Nice apartment, could do better."
As described this apartment is on the 2nd floor. I would have felt a lot more comfortable it there had been a FIRE EXTINGUISHER on the property. The SMART t.v wasn’t smart, it wasn’t connected to WI-FI. We could only find 2 bedrooms. This didn’t interfere with us as we were a couple. A handrail for the final few steps to the lounge would have been appreciated. We did find the location excellent.

"What a beautiful apartment in a wonderful location."
It was spotless and had everything that we needed. It was really a lovely weekend with the apartment making it even more special.

"Lovely apartment in the heart of Buxton, close to shops and restaurants alike."
Very well equipped with all you need to cook an evening meal. The only small problems were the lack of parking but this was over come by using the train station car park which is in walking distance (It uses the ring go app and the location is 35705 so can be booked in advance), and the last few steps in the property leading up to the main room do not have hand rail so were difficult for one member of the group who has mobility issues. Neither of these small problems would stop me from recommending this property or staying there again.

"Holiday apartment was first class and we very much enjoyed our stay."
Unfortunately, detail about flat's location and parking provided was incorrect - docs stated that flat was above 'Bacchus Restaurant' which had closed some time ago and been renamed and the flat's parking space behind building had been withdrawn. Much time was lost finding exact location and exploring parking. When we contacted the owner he said that he had contacted Sykes several times about updating details but it had not been done.

About the location
BUXTON
Tideswell 7 miles; Bakewell 12 miles; Matlock 21 miles.
It was the constant 28 degrees centigrade of the bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs that originally attracted the Romans to the town. However it was during the 18th and 19th centuries, under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire, that the Palladian splendour of the Buxton of today was designed and built - including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House. Today visitors continue to enjoy these magnificent buildings and gardens, as well as the Opera House's full programme and annual festivals of music and arts. There is good walking close by with rugged peaks to the north and gentle hills and dales to the south and a number of pretty towns and villages are dotted throughout including Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton and Edale. The stunning properties of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within easy driving distance and must be seen while visiting this area. A great base for exploring the Peak District.
