"Lovely week spent in a very private and comfortable cottage."
Everything you could possibly need has been thought of. So much to do in the area. Superb facilities, countryside views and excellent food available at the farm shop. Thank you.

"The Cottage is brilliant."
It is a well thought out space, fully equipped and we had a lovely week here. Liz is super helpful, for instance providing us with gentle battery lights as we could not use the candles we brought due to fire insurance. It was great to be able to pop to the cafe next door for a hearty breakfast and the dedicated Voltshare EV charger was a real boon. We would certainly like to stay here again in future and heartily recommend it.

"Very happy indeed!"
The property suited us perfectly and the owner was very friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. Onsite facilities were excellent and having a farm shop/cafe next door was so useful/convenient. The cottage and vicinity is wonderfully quiet and the location gives great access to Matlock, Bakewell, Chesterfield and Buxton, plus a drive to the High Peaks/ Dovedale etc is not too onerous. We visited as a couple this time but it would equally be ideal for a small family or two couples. Thank you for a lovely week.

"Cottage in a good position with a great outlook over farm land and having the Farm Shop and Cafe next door was a bonus."
Very good WiFi although the Smart Tv in the living room was not connected. Cottage was spacious and well equipped. Owner was very helpful and would definitely go back.

"The Cottage is everything you could ask for from a first class holiday rental."
It has everything you could need for your stay. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and very well appointed to allow you to enjoy your break. Being open planned and all on one level meant I was able to get around very easily even with limited mobility. We were welcomed by Liz, who is genuinely the loveliest host and greeted by a delicious welcome basket of goodies. Our neighbours, the farm’s herd of cows, were delightful and kept us entertained. The fabulous farm shop and tea room next door provided us with the most delicious local produce for breakfast and tea. The Cottage looks out over the beautiful hillsides of the Peak District and was a great base from which to visit Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock and all the other local attractions. We really couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for our first (but not last) holiday in the Peak District. A big, BIG, thank you to Liz and the team for making our stay AMAZING.

"The cottage was stunning."
Everything you could possibly need and more. The sheep right outside the back door were a bonus and so lovely to wake up to and watch. Gorgeous views over the countryside. Liz the owner was so nice and couldn’t have done anymore to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The cafe food was delicious and the farm shop stocked with lovely meat and other items. Highly recommend a stay at this lovely cottage. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed.

"We have stayed in many cottages and I have to say this is one of the best we have stayed in."
The owners were lovely , liz showed us around the property and was very helpful indeed. The property is beautiful and peaceful just what was needed and loved looking at the sheep in the fields . To top the property off the tearoom and the farm shop which was a stones throw away from us is a really gem of a place and all local food the food from the farm shop and the tearoom ( especially all the cakes) which we had to have were spot on we can’t thank you guys enough both the owners and staff at the shop and really had a lovely stay here and in a great location not to far away from lots of attractions such as Matlock, Chesterfield and so much more to see. Definitely recommend staying in this property and hope to return back soon .

"Lovely place with wonderful views."
The cottage is comfortable, clean and finished to a high standard with everything you need. Liz makes you very welcome and is helpful throughout the stay. The cottage is next to the farm tearoom and shop which are very handy to have so close. A discount voucher is provided to use in both. Plenty of parking separate and private from the car park for the shop and tearoom.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. So glad you enjoyed our cottage & beautiful countryside. A lovely guest. Property Owner
