The property

Clandyke Cottage is a charming character cottage in Clee Hill, Shropshire.

Suitable for families or friends; with two bedrooms, a woodburning stove, and an enclosed garden with a hot tub, you can also bring along two dogs on your adventure.

Enter the neat kitchen with a variety of appliances to assist you in preparing a home-cooked meal, the dining table is located in the conservatory, offering lovely views of the garden as you enjoy your meal.

The sitting room displays wonderful character, with deep windowsills, exposed beams, and the woodburning stove lit up amidst the exposed brick fireplace, sit back and read a book or utilise the Smart TV as you unwind on the sofa.

There is a handy utility area in which to store your wellies or put a wash on, with both a washing machine and tumble dryer available, with a convenient shower room also located downstairs.

Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms; choose from a spacious king or a bright double room with a mounted TV.

If you want to relax with a soak after a long day of activities, there is a stylish family bathroom also located on the first floor.

In the beautiful garden, you will find a hot tub to relax in and socialise, or you can have a spot of lunch at the outdoor dining table.

Start up the engine and head to Ludlow Castle, where you can opt for a guided archaeologist tour, or stroll around the castle yourself, they even host a musical event in the Summer called Concert in the Castle.

Ludlow is also home to a Food Festival so be sure to look out for the dates or there are plenty of tea rooms in which to enjoy a slice of cake whilst you take in the beautiful views.

Families may want to visit Treasure Island, an amusement park with thrilling rides and arcades to enjoy, if you prefer some quiet time you can relax by the river.

Bodenham Arboretum provides a nature walk, see a little farm on the trail, you may spot some donkeys, or pumpkins if you visit during Halloween, just be sure to pack your wellies.

If you want to venture further afield visit The Iron Bridge, a symbol of the Industrial Revolution, there are museums and a charming village to explore nearby at this World Heritage site.

Clee Hill village is situated in an elevated position on the slopes of the Titterstone Clee Hill which is the third highest hill in Shropshire at 1749’.
