  • "Had a lovely time, throughly enjoyed our stay."

Beautiful house ideally situated, lots to do in the surrounding area.

  • "Lovely property."

Very clean and spacious. Comfy beds. Great hot tub. Our only complaint is that there was no way of making fresh coffee (no machine or cafetiere), there were not enough wine glasses for the five of us (although there were flutes) and there wasn't much cutlery as there was only one fork/knife per person. Not major issues but a better equipped kitchen would have improved our stay. Also, just a suggestion, but the island is designed to have bar stools at it. These would help make the kitchen area a more social space when cooking/cleaning up.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay at Copper coin ,it is much appreciated and enables us to monitor our property and enhance guest experience. We have taken on board you comment regarding a cafetiere, and one will now be provided, and additional glass and silverware has been put in we are also considering your comment regarding bar stools in the kitchen. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall and would hope to welcome you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Property had a very strong damp smell throughout."

So much so we had to go out to buy air freshener and smelly candles. Downstairs shower room smelt awful. It wasn’t usable. No instructions on how to work hearing. No wifi password left out we had to hunt for. No lights at all in garden near the hot tub. Also strict rules that you can only stay in hot tub for 15 mins! Felt the property very unwelcoming and not thought out at all. We’ve stayed in much better, would not stay again!

For whatever reason this guest decided to provide feedback which did not reflect the conditions at copper coin at the time of their visit and so do not understand the motives of this guest to publish such inaccurate feedback. There was not any unpleasant smell at the property, this is a blatant lie. The property has a smart thermostat, which I had thought was fool proof in its operation, but also point out operating instructions are in the welcome book, if they had taken the time to look, together with the Wi-Fi code which is also on the notice board and by the router, The so-called strict rules regarding the hot tub are provided by the Spa industry and are guidelines only. I do hope the reader considers the previous and post feedback left by guests after reding this . Property Owner

  • "The property was spotless and it had the wow factor."

The living area was bright, with lots of natural light and three separate seating areas. It felt very relaxing to be there with tasteful decor and comfortable chairs. Two of the bedrooms were very spacious and the third was okay but it had its own wardrobe. For the two larger rooms, hanging space was in the hallway which wasn't always practical. All the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is big with loads of mainly empty cupboards and a decent fridge/freezer. For some reason, the microwave was in the utility room. There were no coffee making facilities but there was a kettle and a toaster. The garden is not overlooked, is quite well maintained though I'm not sure I liked the plastic flowers in the plant pots as much and it was very pleasant to sit in. The location is good on a quite road on the edge of Gawber with a view over fields and the M1 in the distance. There are a number of local attractions within 20 minutes of the property but it was so nice inside, there was no pressure to be out and about every day.

  • "We stayed over Christmas week, we really did have the best time during our stay!"

! Copper coin had everything we could possibly need and it is furnished to a very high standard. It was very clean. The folder with local recommendations was very handy too. We didn't venture far during our stay, but we were not far from a co-op at the end of the road and a park down the bottom of one of the side streets. There was plenty of space for our family of 6, whether we wanted to be all together or making use of all the different areas of the house! Our two year old loved to get comfy on the fluffy rugs!! There are plenty of tvs and great WiFi signal which was handy with our two teenagers and ten year old! The garden is huge and the covered hot tub was a lovely treat too! The bedrooms are spacious and have ample storage space. We have already booked Copper Coin again in the summer and we can't wait, we are looking forward to being able to enjoy the outside space, fingers crossed for a bit of sun. A huge thank you to the lovely hosts, they thought of everything, even thought about putting some Christmas decorations up for us. You have a beautiful holiday home to be proud of, we really did have the best week. Thank you!

  • "What a beautiful stay this was!"

I will forever recommend to everyone I know! The property is beautiful and clean and smells amazing. One thing I would say, maybe an addition to the amenities to consider (definitely not a complaint) would be creating profiles for streaming sites so that we don’t have to log in and then log back out when we’re done. But honestly it was perfect and I’ll be coming back next year!
