"Catherine messaged us on the morning of our arrival."
. She was so lovely. We had milk and prosecco in the fridge waiting. Chocolates on the bed and kitchen. The place was IMMACULATELY CLEAN!!!! Not a speck of dust anywhere!!!! It is a lovely little place to be. Small and comfy. Warm and homely. We had everything we needed. The pub across the road (The Fleece) was good. You need to book. It gets VERY busy.

"Outstanding!"
What a lovely place to stay and a lovely location! Very polite, friendly and helpful owners, who were there if needed for anything. The shearers hut was a perfect base to locate ourselves with everything we needed to explore the various walks in the beautiful surrounding area and return to the comfort and warmth of the hut at the end of the day. Gorgeous food available in the pub directly across the road, perfect after a long days walk!
Thank you for such lovely feedback! You were the perfect guests and we look forward to welcoming you back anytime. With warmest regards, Sam & Catherine Property Owner

"We cannot recommend a stay at The Shearer’s Hut enough."
It is beautifully decorated and so cosy. Communication with the owner prior to our arrival was good and she spoiled us rotten with a bottle of fizz and goodies. It’s the perfect location to explore the surrounding countryside and the pub opposite serves great food.
It was so lovely to host you - our first customers! It was so lovely to meet you and you are welcome back anytime at all! Take care & all the best, San & Catherine Property Owner
