  • "We had a delightful few days in Hedgehogs Cottage."

The accommodation was top class - the kitchen is beautifully appointed and really well-equipped. The bathroom is large, airy and has a lovely bath and efficient shower. The beds are supremely comfortable. It is very cosy. There is a small garden which is dog-secure and very secluded - a real sun trap when the sun shines. Also a spacious covered decking area allowed us to eat outdoors. The host is very friendly and helpful. She greeted us with a warm welcome and was on hand if there were any problems. She also came to say goodbye, which we thought was very friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay in Hedgehogs Cottage.

  • "We were greeted by a warm and cosy cottage, very handy welcome basket as we had forgotten the tea bags."

We were a party of 3 and found there was plenty of seating and room. The 3 bedrooms were great as we all had our own space. The beds were comfy and we all slept really well. The cottage is quiet and dark enough to see the stars. The garden is dog proof which was a real bonus, with walks on the doorstep (there is a lovely half hour round walk by the cottage) but also an area for a quick trot round surrounded with fence so safe for families to let kids out i think. The owner Guri was informative and on hand. Though she lives next door there was no noise and the stay was entirely private. There is a lovely covered decking area outside we had warm drinks but I would imagine glorious in the summer as an extension of the living space. A great place to stay and we will use it again when we are in the area family.
