"Fantastic place to stay with so many wonderful places to visit nearby."
The weather was good and the midges all gone. The very well equipped and spacious kitchen made cooking easy and for the nights you didn’t want to cook, the Roy Bridge Hotel did excellent food. It was fun watching the trains go past and their passing hours were not early or late and in fact you very soon get used to them. The large, enclosed garden was excellent for dogs. Friendly locals and we felt at home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I am so pleased you enjoyed it as much as we do and I hope we can host you again in the future. Property Owner

"Only slight complaint tried to phone Kelly twice and so did my wife and no answer."
Left a message as well but no major issues one was a noisy boiler and a little smell off it but Kelly had already sorted an engineer to sort it through a neighbour. So all good and the cottage is really nice.

"Lovely clean cottage, well equipped with a lovely welcome pack too."
Beautiful area with squirrels and rabbits coming into the garden. Pubs within walking distance and village had all we needed. We went to Plodda falls in Glen Affric. Beautiful walk and very picturesque. Also visited Drumnadrochit for lunch, quite a lot of coaches and tourists, but it's nice in the winter months, not as crowded
Thank you so much for your positive feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

About the location
ROY BRIDGE
Fort William 11.5 miles; Inverness 58 miles;
Roy Bridge which in Gaelic is Drochaid Ruaidh meaning "the bridge over the Roy" is a small friendly highland village situated some 3 miles east of the bigger village of Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. There is a craft shop, cafe and two hotels where good service, good food and good cask ales are assured. The larger village of Spean Bridge has a well stocked village shop, woollen mill and several cafes and restaurants. Close by is the famous Commando Memorial which stands some 17ft high, and comprises a group of three bronze Commandos dressed in typical World War Two uniforms. This is a haunting and popular stop off for visitors and was built to commemorate their training ground in this area. The vibrant town of Fort William is a short drive away and from here guests can venture a little further south and visit the Glencoe Museum and learn more about the infamous massacre.
