"This is a beautiful house, very comfortable and spotlessly clean."
The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The site is amazing, their hard work certainly shows and they are very willing to assist with anything or local information needed. Definitely recommend for a chilled relaxing break, would revisit, miss it already.. The scenery is beautiful though due to location (which is not a negative) a car is needed to get about, if that's what you want. There are no footpaths on roads so too dangerous to walk. If I had 1 negative it would be check-in and check-out times, 4pm check-in is half the day gone (the nearest pub, the Kangeroo Inn stopped serving food at 2pm and unless booked a table couldn't guarantee we could have what we wanted off menu so it was a drive to the next pub whilst we waited to check-in). Maybe 2pm and 11am would be ideal check-in/out times. Other than that we cannot fault our stay, there were 9 of us and it was perfect. Thank you.

"It was a really well stocked cottage."
We were really happy with our holiday. We stayed for 7 nights and all had a lovely holiday. would recommend.

"We loved our stay at Wayside house, the beds were super comfy and the hot tub was fantastic."
Just a couple of pointers that would make the next person's stay even better. A hanging space in the downstairs bedroom would be handy, also a stool/seat in the wet room. The drive was also a bit tricky and our car wheels got stuck a couple of times in the gravel.

"Lovely old house, carefully updated, great for multi age group… as a previous reviewer said, the pictures and descriptions don’t do it justice."
The adjoining campsite and facilities were a boon, not a downside at all.. our children enjoyed feeding the chickens too.

"Due to the amazing establishment I cannot possibly put anything but the highest rating, however the Accuracy of the Listing was NOT good, this property is far superior to how it is listed and is probably missing a number of bookings as it’s not listed to the high standard that is provided."

"Great property with plenty of space and a great layout for 10 of us."
The property looks nicer than the pictures let on. We had a great time and the owners were about if we needed them. Would definitely recommend.
