  • "We had a lovely stay at the shepherd's hut which was fitted and equipped to a very high standard."

Our visit was in October so we were unable to use the outdoor facilities which, had the weather been better, would have been fantastic. Our dog loved the outdoor space which was enclosed and safe. We will definitely visit next year in summer. Our only criticism would be that an electric kettle rather than whistling kettle would be quicker and safer in such an enclosed space . I was very nervous that it would have been easy to not realize or forget that the electric hob plate was on and touch it as there was no cover or touch the hot kettle. Also some instructions as to how to use the electric fire would be good. On the whole though the accommodation was to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed having such a lovely bathroom inside the shepherd's hut. Thank you for a lovely short break.

  • "Wow, the photos do not do this place justice !"

! For just me and my dog, this was the perfect size, the outside living areas are amazing which gives a larger area to enjoy the property, especially if the weather is good. My dog adored it ! The hut itself is decorated to an incredibly high standard. Would definitely return

  • "We found the property very clean, first we would like to say that the bathroom and shower was very nice, we felt the property was lacking a microwave, electric kettle washing up bowl, sweeping brush and dustpan, although probably not the owners responsibility the last quarter of a mile was a VERY VERY rough track."

Hi, thankyou very much for choosing to stay with us. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Just a few comments on the feedback, which is always welcome. We supply a Le Creuset stove top kettle as we feel it is a great space saver and in keeping with our theme. We do also supply a Nespresso coffee machine with pods for our guests to us. Unfortunately we do not have space in the hut for a microwave but we do have a small oven. The brush and dustpan are kept inside the large outside storage container along with the parasol and outside cushions. We do very much hope to welcome you again. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely stunning the grounds and everything around it, wish the weather was better to enjoy the outdoors."

Would be lovely with a fire pit or some form of heating under the canopy. Needs a soft brush and a dustpan and brush so we could clean the inside while on our stay and before we left.

  • "A very pleasant stay, everything spotless and obviously very new."

Great place to walk, we got a bus to Shrewsbury and walked back along the Shropshire Way. Could do with a few things to help tidying up when we left.
