The Coach House At The Gables is a beautifully-converted home, resting in the popular village of Burlton, Shropshire.
Surrounded by the undulating countryside stretching across the Welsh Marches and Shropshire countryside, this detached holiday home is simply wonderful.
Just a short drive from the small, popular market town of Ellesmere, it is the perfect centre point to explore the area with tranquil glacial lakes, a canal, a garden, and woodland walks.
Visitors to this town can also enjoy a little boating to take in the stunning canal views, making this holiday cottage an ideal base for families and friends to enjoy a real gem in Shropshire.
Set over two floors, there are two bedrooms and a family shower room, with access to a seating area via steps.
On the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, leading through to a light and airy sitting room, with a sofa bed; a lovely, inviting property, where you can spend time relaxing or enjoying a huge variety of days out.
Outside, you can sit on the front patio area in the courtyard or relax in your own private seating area.
The area is surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with green sloping hills, glacial lakes and an incredible canal network that can be explored on foot.
You are perfectly placed to enjoy any of the six National Trust properties locally, such as Erddig House, Attingham Park or Dudmaston Estate.
Guests can also walk alongside the Llangollen Canal and marvel at the phenomenal feat of engineering as the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct spectacularly spans the River Dee, fed by the equally marvellous Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen, within 25 miles.
You are ideally placed to explore the local Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the area offering various outdoor activities, such as miles of footpaths to explore, boat trips and walks along the canals and numerous cycle paths.
There are also several local golf courses to enjoy, or why not test your nerve and partake in local flying lessons, or a hot air balloon trip?
Just less than 15 miles away are two historic market towns; Shrewsbury, one of England’s finest medieval market towns with a castle, abbey, and parkland, is a lovely place to while away a few hours.
Oswestry, a thriving border town, where Shropshire meets Wales is also well worth a visit or travel a little further to enjoy the striking town of Ludlow, which is known for its gastronomic delights.
All of this awaits at The Coach House At The Gables.
