  • "The property was very welcoming and comfortable."

The owners had made it even more homely by putting up Christmas decorations. It was just perfect for us to all meet and share a wonderful family Christmas. It was like a home from home. Nice and cosy as heating is left on all the time. Mark was quite right when he said “it was our home for the week” when he met with us. Decor was good. It was clean and spacious with plenty of things to do. Hubby was so pleased to have a comfortable bed! Lots of walks locally but you need to drive to them. The quite busy road adjacent to the bungalow has no pavement to walk along. Would like to visit in the summer to enjoy the outdoor facilities and spacious well kept garden. Thank you for the wine and chocolates. It’s also perfect for those who like to star gaze. Never seen such a wonderful display of stars on the two clear nights when we were there. A really relaxing stress free week and would thoroughly recommend.

ALBERBURY

Shrewsbury 9 miles; Powis Castle 10 miles.

Alberbury is a small rural village in lovely countryside, 4 miles from the Offa's Dyke Pathway, 9 miles from historic Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury lies within a giant loop of the River Severn, and has been called England's finest Tudor town, with its timber framed, black and white buildings, as well as the ancient 'shuts' or passageways which connect them.
