  • "We enjoyed our stay and especially as the weather was gloriously sunny."

Watching the animals in the paddock was entertaining and the hot tub was a very enjoyable bonus. The facilities were good although we didn’t use the cooker at all. Adding a towel rail in the kitchen and an extra one in the bathroom would be useful also a change of towels mid week would have been beneficial. The bed was comfortable but the glitzy finish on the duvet felt rough. The surroundings and area are pleasant but the nearby road can be a bit noisy. Danni (the owner) was very pleasant and helpful and made us welcome.

Few little niggles like TV remote affected heating but worked around that ok,if weather had been perfect would have been better but weather is out of your control.

We loved the hot tub with the views put to the countryside, not forgetting the animals opposite which kept us amused. Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area.

We loved using the hot tub and fire and chilling out watching all the animals in the paddock. The location was great for Cheddar Gorge, Weston Super Mare and Bristol. Thank you for a lovely stay Steve!

  • "This property was fantastic!"

! Everything we needed for a short break away, from logs for the fire pit to Bluetooth speakers in the hot tub. The views are stunning, we spent hours watching the chickens, horses and rabbits. A few pubs close by all under a mile to walk too. Cheddar close and beautiful too. We’ll be back!!

  • "What an incredible place and setting!"

Enjoy scenic views of the surrounding countryside while watching the horses, chickens and wild rabbits living their best life in the fenced-off field just yards from the pod. Great training for our reactive rescue dog who treated them all like part of the family by the end of our four-day break! A hot tub with Bluetooth-connected speakers so you can listen to your own choice of music while relaxing in the hot tub, sipping Prosecco and looking at the baby bunnies hopping around in the grass. Pure luxury. The cosy pod itself has everything you need to cook meals whilst the BBQ is a great option. The firepit was a real treat in the evening, toasting marshmallows under the stars. I'd recommend bringing your own camping chairs for that little bit more comfort. The pod is in a wonderful location if you like country walks and good quality real ale pubs. The Strawberry Line (former railway line) is only 200 yards behind the pod and you can walk for miles in both directions. You can also do a lovely circular 2-mile walk through the woods and end up back at the New Inn (5 mins from the pod) which has a great choice of ale and the best pub chips we've ever tasted!
