"Good proactive communication from the property owner without it being intrusive - advice / reminder on key safe location, rubbish collection & a minor issue with the maintenance of the property."
Fantastic location - clifftop views 2 mins away - bus stop less than 5 mins and train station with regular trains to Cardiff within 10 mins walk. In addition to the owners food and drink recommendations, Bro Coffi trailer at the near end of the prom does really good coffee and great home made biscuits / granolas; Marcos Cafe had very friendly locals in the mornings and did a great bacon baguette and the Hungry Shark did a largely grease free fish / pie and chips - all well recommended. Porthkerry Country Park is an hours walk along the cliffs - good for mixed ability walks and with a cafe too. The ‘Goodsheds’ Urban Market / bar / cafe complex on Hood Road is a half hour walk and also recommended. The funfair had a couple of decent rides too.
