  • "Good proactive communication from the property owner without it being intrusive - advice / reminder on key safe location, rubbish collection & a minor issue with the maintenance of the property."

Fantastic location - clifftop views 2 mins away - bus stop less than 5 mins and train station with regular trains to Cardiff within 10 mins walk. In addition to the owners food and drink recommendations, Bro Coffi trailer at the near end of the prom does really good coffee and great home made biscuits / granolas; Marcos Cafe had very friendly locals in the mornings and did a great bacon baguette and the Hungry Shark did a largely grease free fish / pie and chips - all well recommended. Porthkerry Country Park is an hours walk along the cliffs - good for mixed ability walks and with a cafe too. The ‘Goodsheds’ Urban Market / bar / cafe complex on Hood Road is a half hour walk and also recommended. The funfair had a couple of decent rides too.

  • "Had a lovely stay, house is well equipped with some good quality kitchen equipment."

Walking distance to seafront, beach and some lovely coastal walks. Train station with trains to Cardiff 3 times an hour, huge bonus in walking distance. Owner easy to contact and local. House is in a quiet estate on headland, definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves.

  • "Great location, in a quiet neighbourhood but also close to beaches and attractions."

The house itself was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and exploring the local area.

  • "Points to mention: Instructions for all appliances lacking No visitors book which are useful for visitors recommendations Walking routes to beach should be provided in the house Parking for 3 cars should be considered Well equipped kitchen but insufficient glass tumblers and water jugs Why no tea towels?"

Rear bifold doors easy to open but very difficult to close. Ample storage as advertised in bunk bedroom non existent Why was the ironing board stored in the attic room this reducing cloth storage. Ironing would be difficult in that room because of slope. Some door handles need attention Why did the heating come on when it was hot outside?

  • "The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay."

A lovely welcome pack with the Welsh cakes, always a family favourite, an added treat. The location was brilliant allowing for lots of walks through the day as well as easy access to tourist venues and visits to family in the valleys. Hosts John & Julie were welcoming and helpful. A great place to stay.

  • "Our stay here was most enjoyable."

The house is extremely comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. Our dog was also welcome to stay- a very important feature for us when deciding on our choice of holiday property! Having off-road parking is also important. The house is ideally positioned in a quiet location and within a very short walk to the beach. It also makes an excellent base to visit this part of South Wales and everything the area has to offer. We highly recommend a stay here and very much hope to return ourselves in the future. Thank you John and Julie for this pleasurable experience.

  • "House was lovely and location was perfect for families also very dog owners."

My only one gripe is it stated 2 king size beds but the first floor seemed more like a double. Would highly recommend lovely house in fabulous area close to beaches.

Hi Susan thanks for the feedback from your stay. Please be assured that both of the beds are Kingsize at the property. Property Owner
