"We had the most wonderful stay at Beechcroft Cottage."
The cottage was perfect, very cosy and comfortable. We love Exmoor and have been many times and this holiday was exactly what we needed. We had a lovely welcome pack which included fresh eggs and a delicious chocolate cake. My husband was delighted he saw red deer on the hills outside the property. My daughter loved the games room. Thank you very much.

"We had a wonderful stay at the property."
The fresh eggs and homemade cake on arrival were enjoyed throughout the week, and a pleasant surprise. The venue is nestled in the countryside, the dark skies and quiet gave you a lovely quiet and relaxing stay.
Lisa, thank you for positive feedback, we are however a little disappointed that you feel we warrant the lowest score the property has ever received along with your feedback on Hazel Barn. Although you make no mention of why you felt Beechcroft deserved such a low score for facilities and maintenance. I can therefore only presume that you have used the same scores for both properties. As explained on the Hazel review you where supplied everything as per the booking numbers you gave to Sykes. I would encourage you to let owners know in future that you have an issue when you are at the property so that it can be fixed if needed. We spoke to you and your guests on several occasions an no issues were raised. To mark someones business down for something they know nothing about is very unfair .Especially given all the effort to make guests stay as comfortable as possible and as reflected in our other guest reviews. Yours Sincerely Damon & Karen Property Owner

"Lovely little cottage, clean and well equipped, in a nice peaceful location."
The games room is a nice addition if you fancy a game of pool or table tennis. The owners very thoughtfully left a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, eggs and a lovely cake. All in all, a great place to just relax or use as a base to explore north Devon.

The milk, cake, eggs and all the little extras left for us on arrival was much appreciated.

"Very pleased with the accommodation and the kind thoughts put into provision of teabags, cake, washing up liquid etc."
It was very welcome. The decor is extremely pleasing and tasteful. However the storage heaters were inadequate on frosty days and unfortunately the hot water cylinder had not been switched on. As we were only there for a few days we did not use the open fire although it did look very inviting. We would happily book the cottage again.
Hi Lindsey, we are glad you enjoyed your stay in Beechcroft. I can only apologies about the hot water tank being off it should have been checked on change over. As you know we have just bought Lambscombe so are in an upgrade process including the heaters. The current storage heaters do have a boost function so had we known we could have addressed the issue. We look forward to seeing you both again (hopefully when the suns shining. Kind Regards, Damon Property Owner
