  • "I couldn’t believe how comfortable the caravan was, the owners had thought of everything, a bottle of wine in the fridge treats for the dog if I had one , I am definitely going to book here for next year."

    Caravan was warm and cozy

Hi Mr Sweetland, Thank You for your kind words, you will be welcomed back anytime. Next time I will leave you some treats instead of a dog Michelle Property Owner

  • "The caravan was just perfect with lots of lovely personal touches."

The garden was perfect for our little dog. However, the best thing about it was the absolutely spectacular views over the bay, the sunsets were amazing. The site was lovely and the pool was great. We will definitely be back!

You will be very welcome to stay again. Thank you so much for the card it is much appreciated Property Owner

  • "We came home half way thru the holiday in Bayview 23 due to the weather being Atrocious & did not feel safe in Bayview 23 due to Gale force winds & rain which rocked the Caravan about!"

! And also felt cold inside the caravan despite having the heating on due to the hole that's underneath the TV unit which caused the winds outside coming thru, having said that it's a very quiet site & presentable & clean, one other draw back is no access to beach due to cliff erosion & when i ask member of staff on site, it look as if the access to beach is to be permanently closed!!

  • "Wonderful peaceful and relaxing place to stay, stunning view over the bay and lovely to be able to sit on the decking and admire it."

There was just me and my dog and it was perfect for us, Luna enjoyed the dog play area. On the other hand for those with children or just like a bit more action there was a fabulous childrens play area, swimming pool, restaurant etc Something for everyone really. The only slightly negative comment I would make is that there is nowhere really to walk from the caravan, only around the site, so had to drive to go anywhere, but that is very minor. On the whole a very pleasant relaxing few days, just what I needed. Thank you

Thank you for your lovely comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

The caravan is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with thoughtful and much appreciated touches. The caravan has a great position on site, perfect for soaking up the glorious views and soothing sunsets, so serene.

  • "Lovely caravan."

Great views over the coast. Very clean and well equipped .Nice welcome pack. Shame the path down to the beach is closed. Site bar and restaurant only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Outside seating Very basic

Thank you for the review. I have now put more outside seating. I have been informed that the Bar & Restaurant will be open more now the season is picking up. Geologists are looking at the coastal path to see what can be done. Property Owner

About the location

WEST QUANTOXHEAD

Watchet 4.5 miles; Taunton 16 miles.

West Quantoxhead is a small village on the edge of the Quantock Hills in West Somerset, and is a mile from the small sandy beach of St Audries. The bay is the sandiest around here and has something for everyone including rock pools, a waterfall and a chance to find some 200 million year old fossils. The Quantock countryside is among the finest in England and was the first to be awarded the national status of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and Quantock Common is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The hills provide almost 50 square miles of open heathland, woodland, small villages and farmland, with some beautiful countryside for walking, horse riding and bird watching. There are also well-known walking routes passing virtually through West Quantoxhead village including the Coleridge Way, Macmillan Way and Somerset Coastal Path. Within a short drive of West Quantoxhead are Dunster Castle, West Somerset Railway, Hestercombe House and Gardens, Clarke's Retail Village, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge and Exmoor.
