  • "This is a fabulous property."

Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The views and location are the best we have ever had. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. It had everything we could possibly need. Our only downside was the parking as we took 2 cars and parking spaces around the property were hard to come by and expensive. But we shall still return as out of season the parking is free. A really great holiday.

So pleased you enjoyed the stay and loved the house (so do we). The best place we have found to park a second car is the swimming pool at the can of the property at £4.40 (I think) a day. Hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "A lovely property, very comfortable and beautifully furnished, it is easy to feel at home."

The kitchen is really well equipped and the views from rooms at the front are excellent. The parking space is very tight for a larger car but manageable. There is a good selection of games for entertainment on rainy days. A couple of the doors can be difficult to open as the catches don’t retract easily ie the door at the top of the first set of stairs from the back door entrance (we thought someone had been into the house and locked this door, it took a lot of jiggling to open it) and the bathroom heading towards the bedrooms (this is because the knob has to be turned almost 360 degrees from inside). A mirror near a plug in the second bedroom for hair styling would be useful too. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house and there are plenty of places nearby to visit. We would definitely go back.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay and thanks for your thoughts on some other things we could add. Hope to see you again at some point. Property Owner

  • "Other than a few stains on the living room carpet we couldn’t fault the property is was gorgeous."

Parking would be my only issue as we had 3 cars but all in all we loved it

There are a few stains on the carpet we suspect due to tea/coffee spills but the carpet has been deep cleaned now. So glad you liked the house - we love it whenever we stay there. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay here."

We were unfortunate with the weather, but that’s how it goes. Stockham house is a big house with plenty of room, this ensured every one was able to find a quiet place to relax in. Furnishings were good and the house warm. The only minor faults for us was that some of the lighting didn’t work in the main bedroom and the bedding could be of better quality in a quality house. Also the lack of a rug or two by the beds. But these are our personal observations. No clutter. Plenty of good cutlery and crockery, utensils pots and pans etc. milk in the fridge on arrival with tea coffee etc was a welcome treat. A lovely well cared for house. We hope to return to this house next year if possible. We really enjoyed our stay at 49 the esplanade.

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback. Lights are now sorted and will be checked between stays and we will have a look at the bedding. We would love you to come and stay again as a repeat booking. Property Owner

So glad you enjoyed it. The view of the sea out of the lounge and the main bedroom windows is amazing. So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
