  • "Property has a lovely setting, nice and quiet."

Property was warm, lots of hot water. Decent size rooms. Light and airy. Great hot tubs towels and nice toiletries provided. Lovely bedding. We didn’t have any eggs and owner kindly gave the last two she had. Courtyard garden was nice as safe and enclosed for children. It is very remote however and the nearest pub is shut most the time. Fridge/freezer was too small and there were no cupboards to put food in as they were full of crockery. Dishwasher was badly fitted as the bottom door catches on the plinth. I received an email to tell there was a bottle Prosecco and a cake in fridge, but they were not there, but we did get left a bottle of red and some nice apple juice. It would be a nice place to stay in warmer months.

Hi Thankyou for your feedback. As a family business are glad you enjoyed our cottage & appreciated the complimentary wine ( we provided this instead of Prosecco), apple Juice & because you forgot your eggs, I gave you our 2 eggs which was all that we had spare. We are surprised that you found our holiday cottage did not have enough cubboard in the open plan designer kitchen with granite work tops. We are also surprised that you found the fridge / freezer was not big enough. We have not received this feedback ever & all guests who stay in our holiday cottages know it is a holiday cottage not a residential house. The timing of your stay is out of season & our local pub opens full time in the summer & with limited opening in winter, If you had any questions you could have asked as I saw you all on a daily basis & offered this assistance when I welcomed you all to our farm. Happy New Year & I wish you all the best. Property Owner

  • "The Farm Office is totally stunning both inside and the country side surroundings."

Katherine has thought of everything that you can need on a trip away from home. The Farm Office is bigger than the photos look and all the rooms are beautifully proportioned. The Farm Office is ideally located a 15 minute drive from central Tiverton but being in the heart of the countryside. The farm itself is nestled in the hills and the views from the living room are stunning. Knightshayes National Trust property is approx a 20 min drive and Killerton a 30 minute drive, both are great to visit. We can not thank Katherine and family enough for the amazing accommodation that they provided.

  • "Stayed at the Farm Office from 6th - 13th September 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

. Hosts Katherine and Nigel were extremely good and together with their staff made us feel very welcome. It was very kind of them to invite us to attend their " open day" at Thorne Farm Racing on the Saturday and to meet their guests and we especially enjoyed meeting and getting close to many of their horses. A very enjoyable day. The carrot cake which Katherine organised for us was excellent. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable - excellent hot tub. Although the weather was not particularly kind on some days we had many enjoyable visits to locations in the area. The long trip from Norwich was well worth it and we cannot thank Katherine and Nigel for being excellent hosts.

Thankyou for your amazing review. We are a family business & your words mean so much to us. It was a pleasure to host you both & you are welcome back anytime, I know the horses will be so pleased to see you too !! Property Owner
