"Whitehall Cottage was the perfect location for a family holiday."
It's a home from home and has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen and a welcoming lounge with log burner. The beds are very comfortable. The owners are lovely and helpful, and left us a homemade Victoria sponge which was delicious. We'd love to visit again.

"We had a lovely friendly stay at Whitehall Farm Cottage."
Homebaked chocolate cake greeted us on arrival and the house was cosy and suited our needs perfectly. Great few games/toys for kids (the dressing-up box was a total hit) and the cottage had all the facilities you'd expect. If you're the kind of person who likes to unpack there's not a huge amount of storage space, but as we tend to keep our clothes in our bags on a short stay that wasn't a problem. Sofa was also quite low so 'oldies' might struggle a bit. That said, we loved it and would recommend!

"A wonderful cottage."
Comfortable and relaxing. Very well equipped. Hosts are great.

"We loved our stay at Whitehall cottage."
The owners were friendly and helpful. The cottage was peaceful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable. The only downside, for us (in our late 70’s) was that the lounge seating was very low and not particularly comfortable. Apart from that our stay was perfect.

"Jayne was a wonderful host, we had an unexpected medical emergency and she was very kind and incredibly considerate."
Thank you for all your help.

"We love the farm have been visiting for over 20 years and plan to return"
-
"It’s a lovely stay every time, hopefully we will be back next year."
-
"A spacious and comfortable home from home."
The owners were very helpful but did not interfere with our enjoyment, and we would not have known that we were on a working farm. A delightful part of the country and the property is well placed to take advantage of all that is on offer.

"Lovely cottage which catered for every need."
Cottage very clean tho felt damp in places and the main shower seems to have a water leak issue which seems to of caused damp patches on ceiling and slight mould although did not affect the working of it. Jayne the host was lovely and readily available and upon arrival leaves home made baking treats which were fab. Great host.

"All wooden chairs in dining room, wooden planks for kitchen seating, settee really uncomfortable and very low to floor, wicker chairs uncomfortable and low to floor."
No draws or cupboards to put clothes in bedrooms. Should not have to live out of a suitcase that was on the floor making it difficult to bend to get to clothes. White curtains attracted moths and these did not block out the light. Bed in back room was comfortable but bedding covering quilt was very thick, cotton would have beEn better. White plates in kitchen were uninspiring to eat from as black scratch cutting marks on all of them. Toast was left in the toaster from previous people. Downstairs toilet is not an accessible toilet for a partially disabled person as no room to get on and off toilet. Bathroom window is not obscure.

"Thanks for a great holiday."
Really enjoyed our time on the farm - fantastic views and great bird watching. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with Jayne and Rowan. Great to see their efforts to put the environment first as part of managing the farm and holiday accomodation. Keep up the good work!

"The most wonderful cottage with everything you could possibly need."
It was the perfect base to explore Devon from and was the perfect, relaxing spot to return to. The hosts were incredible, so welcoming and kind, thank you for opening up your farm to your visitors - my daughter loved seeing all the animals! We are already looking at when we can return next year!
-
"Lovely cottage inside and out comfortable clean and spacious, with the freedom to roam the farm."
The owners were so nice friendly and informative
-
"Great cottage, both spacious and cosy."
And also very comfortable, well equipped, surrounded by lovely countryside. We really enjoyed our stay, and Jayne was extremely welcoming and helpful.
-
"Pretty spacious warm rustic cottage in a beautiful quiet location with plenty of wildlife."
Very well equally kitchen and very comfy beds. The owner left us a lovely homemade cake on arrival which was very much appreciated. The only things that would have made this cottage perfection for us would be better seating in the lounge, as the sofa is very low, slouchy and uncomfortable, the other option is some hard wicker chairs. Also, apart from the bathroom mirror over the sinks upstairs there are no other large mirrors, only one portable A4 sized mirror between the 3 bedrooms.

"Had a lovely week at Whitehall Farm Cottage."
Jayne the host was very friendly and helpful. Situated in the countryside just outside Honiton so handy for shopping and close to a variety of towns and attractions. Lovely spacious accommodation and our 16month old grandson particulary enjoyed the big red bus toy and the rocker! Would highly recommend.
-

"The cottage was great location only issue was with the seating in the lounge was very uncomfortable also the two single beds in one of the bedrooms were not very comfortable to sleep on."

"Owners are very friendly and obliging the main draw back for my wife snd myself ..."
Owners are very friendly and obliging the main draw back for my wife snd myself both getting on in years i should add main seating too low it is however a very nice cottage in a lovely setting lots to do and see in the area and would highly recommend

"This cottage is in a stunning location."
The views from the cottage are pure joy as the farm is set within the beautiful rolling hills of Devon countryside. The location was great for exploring. Honiton just down the road for shopping and cream teas. The owner was friendly and helpful and we arrived to a lovely note and some homemade marble cake. Children would love the farm location and animals. Beds super comfy.

"A beautiful cottage in a perfect location, very spacious and clean and had everything we needed."
Rolling hills to walk and animals to watch made it perfect for us all. The owners were superb hosts and so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend, such a great place!
-
"A lovely cottage in a really beautiful setting - green hills in every direction, a pretty garden where we ate all of our meals listening to the birdsong and watching the hens, chicks, sheep, cows and wild rabbits."
The owner Is very friendly but not intrusive, and she kindly welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake. Highly recommended!

"Well placed to get to all areas, and better than staying in a coastal town."
...we all have cars anyway. The cottage is big and to stay in on a rainy day is a pleasure. Plenty of room, bedrooms are huge and dark and quiet at night. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need, just bring food and cook. The lounge is big, a log burner and plenty of wood available. The setting on a farm makes it one of the better places to stay. We were well looked after by the hosts.

"It was really lovely, Peaceful, spacious and great location to explore lots of coastal places."
-
"Beautiful cottage within a farm, amazing local walk."
Jayne was very accommodating and left us lots of information with lots of recommendations! We were able to enjoy both Honinton and the Jurassic coast easily. The cake she made us was the cherry on the cake! Thank you

"Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere."
A little sanctuary and so, so peaceful. The cottage was very clean and the owner always nearby if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Only feedback and certainly not a criticism but I took my parents as a gift and my Dad is a little disabled in that his legs don’t work very well. Stairs were not an issue as he’s ok if he has something to hold on to so no problem there. It was just the seating in the living room as very low so he had trouble getting out of it. As I said, certainly not a criticism but something you don’t know until you are there. Beautifully designed house. Very minimalistic which we loved. In the middle of acres of farm which you have the freedom to walk around. There are chickens (we loved the fresh eggs!!!), sheep, cows and a bull. The stars at night are fabulous. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage.

Honiton has an attractive High Street stretching almost 2 miles, and lined with individually owned shops, pubs and restaurants.
