  • "A really beautiful place to stay the chalet was spacious and comfortable and you have the golf course next door that sells amazing food."

A bit further down the road you have the swimming baths, funfair and a bar that has entertainment on and sell food all day and all this is within walking distance from the chalet would definetly reccomend and stay there again.

  • "This lodge was beautiful!"

! It has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay, it was very well equipped and finished to a high standard, brean country club site was very peaceful which made sitting/ sunbathing on the lovely sofa on the decking very relaxing. We really enjoyed RJ’s night time entertainment too. It was around a 10 minute walk to the beach which was a nice beach for walking, we used the splash park twice which the kids absolutely loved I also went on all the slides and very much enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I have had to pay to use the pool when visiting a holiday park as it’s normally included with the price of the holiday, it cost us £18 every time we wanted to swim which was a shame because my kids would have loved to have gone every day. The park was with in easy reach of western super mere which we enjoyed having a walk round. We also visited Bath which was 1 hour 40 mins away, Torquay which was absolutely stunning and spend the whole afternoon paddling and playing in the sea which was 1 hour 20 mins away and. Glastonbury which was 45 mins away, There were a lot of road works on the M5 which held us back from more exploring near Bristol, iI have mentioned this to help others to plan any day trips to allow more travel time, Due to this reason we decided to leave the night before to miss sitting for hours on the motorway the following day if we checked out at 10am, I was a bit gutted but having three children it made sense and we did miss all the traffic driving home through the night. we would like to thank sue the owner for a lovely stay. Kind regards Rebecca and family.

  • "Just had a lovely week with our family here."

Lodge very comfy in a peaceful location next to a golf course. Not far from the facilities of a theme park and pool complex that our grandchildren loved. The owner Sue was very helpful and the lodge was well equipped. The goodies on arrival were most welcome. Would definitely recommend this accomodation.

Sue (the owner) was really helpful from booking right through to check out. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and more - the welcome hamper was a lovely touch! Super comfy beds, robes, slippers and complimentary wine, Sue really does have everything covered. The veranda was our favourite part, perfect for watching the sun go down on an evening.

  • "Beautiful lodge with everything we needed."

Sue was a great host, answering all queries really quickly. Loved the little basket you left. Lodge was clean and had a lovely decking with seating and table to eat outdoors. Was ideal location .. we visited Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury while we were there. Was in a really quiet part of the park but easy to get to all the amenities. Entertainment on site was great too. We would definitely recommend the lodge and would love to revisit.

The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The Lodge was excellent 4 beds two Jack and Jill bathrooms; one double shower and the other shower over bath (all invigorating power showers). The Lodge was equipped to a very high spec with quality TV's in each room. A high chair and travel cot was available at no extra cost. Position and outlook was very good and on the doorstep of the Country Club. Excellent experience and hats of to the owner. Thank you Sue.

Right from booking, Sue, the owner emailed me all the relevant information, and even said I could contact her if need be during the stay. She was so friendly and helpful, and answered all questions I’d asked about the lodge and resort. Finally, when I did need to contact Sue during the stay regarding a small matter, she sorted it out straightaway. Great lodge. Great owner. Great resort. Would recommend to anyone!
