"This is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in ."
Your directions are appalling .not everybody has a satnav. its location is only for people who dont mind travelling to get to the coast or other towns . cullompton is a ghost town normally known as a dump

"This is a fantastic place to stay."
Everything you could want and more. Great secure garden for the dog, and walks right from the front door. Spacious, clean, great beds and towels, fully equipped kitchen. Parking right outside. Owners at hand if you want them or not, nothing was a problem. Loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat.

"Very nice spacious accommodation next to the owners property, enclosed garden ideal for our dog with doggy walks close by."
Very comfortable recliners in the lounge. Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Milk for our arrival was most welcomed. Lovely to meet you Freddy, Claire and Wilma. Thank you BR The Petts

"Lovely place to stay , our dog loved the enclosed garden and all the lovely places to walk ."
House is very well equipped , cant think of anything else you could need that is not there . Little conservatory ,lovely place for an afternoon cup of tea and a snooze . Plenty of room in the house for four , handy downstairs loo . A wonderful place to get away for peace and quiet . Would say to go careful driving out from drive onto the road , traffic can be difficult to see coming from the left . Overall would definitely recommend staying here , beautiful countryside and lots of nearby national trust places to visit .

"What a wonderful place to stay for our holiday exploring north Devon and the surrounding areas."
Oak barn was a lovely cottage with really handy enclosed garden for our two furry family members. It is situated right by some bridleways which were great for walking the dogs and being situated about 5mins outside Cullompton meant easy access to the motorway and local amenities! Would recommend this cottage. Was perfect for our family (2adults, 2children and two dogs) Owner lives in adjacent house and was on hand to welcome us and give us hints and tips which was great and we were left to our own devices for rest of the stay :)

"Really enjoyed our stay at Oak Barn."
I have 2 dogs & it was fantastic for them, the large garden was completely safe and enclosed. I've stayed at places before that have said the garden was enclosed but anything smaller than a great dane could get out. The cottage was spotlessly clean & had everything we needed. Freddie & his wife were really friendly & helpful without being intrusive. Would definately stay here again, the location was also perfect as we have relatives nearby.

Lovely walks or central to the coastal towns. Loved it.

"The description of the cottage was exactly as described."
The cottage was located up a private lane. It was a very beautiful, peaceful setting, with a secured dog-friendly garden. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with everything required for a lovely holiday. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, with some nice little touches such as,milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Also supplied a variety of cleaning products eg, washing up liquid, washing machine and dishwasher tablets. Also a nice touch was the vases with fresh flowers. Overall we and our little sausage dog loved it, and cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend it.

"We found the cottage relatively easily from instructions received from Sykes and the owners."
They live on site and are very approachable, but busy with their business. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to visit sea-side, country or town. Although the weather was a little changeable, it did not stop us doing anything. We have no problems passing our recommendations on to our friends. What you see on the website is true to life and far exceeded our expectations. We will consider this property again when we next visit the area. Thank you to Freddie and Clair.

"A real home from home, barn is well equipped and very comfortably furnished."
Location was very quiet with good walks from the doorstep and many walks a short drive away. Local shops and really fab farm shop which had a lovely cafe attached. Owners were lovely and friendly, on hand for any questions, but not intrusive. We had a lovely week recharging our batteries and hope to return. Thank you Claire and Freddy for your hospitality.

"Very comfortable cottage."
Everything there that you could need, and handily placed for touring East Devon and West Dorset. Friendly owner, nice dog walk outside and good quality furniture inside. Shame about the terrible weather, but having such a comfortable cottage to come back to each day more than compensated. Would recommend this venue.

"My husband and I had a lovely comfortable week staying in Oak Barn."
Our two Yorkshire Terriers enjoyed the safety of the enclosed garden and the humans enjoyed the comfortable reclining sofas, cosy bed with luxurious bedding and soft fluffy towels. Our hosts, Freddy and Clare were friendly and accommodating and any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Great food at the two local dog friendly pubs. We would happily stay again.
