"We had a wonderful four night stay, the hot tub was wonderful!"
The hut was spotless and very comfortable. It was so peaceful and relaxing I was able to sit and paint the views are stunning.. the local village pub was very busy the food was all home cooked and the portions were enormous. I would highly recommend.

Moor View Retreat
Moor View Retreat consist of two, Norfolk-built, wooden holiday huts set in the serene Devon countryside, on the outskirts of Morchard Bishop, Devon. Morchard Bishop is a good size village located in Mid Devon. It is a very peaceful village set in stunning rural scenery about 10 miles from Crediton. Running through the heart of the village is the longest single spine of connected 16th and 17th century thatched cottages in England. Surrounding the village are a number of very scenic local walks, and the village itself is actually an integral part of the Two Moors Way, a walk connecting Dartmoor to the north and Exmoor to the South. Dartmoor National Park provides additional excellent walking, and horse riding opportunities. Close to Morchard Bishop there are many other scattered villages with welcoming inns, well-stocked farm shops, tea shops serving Devon cream teas and friendly locals. Crediton is a market town 10 miles from Morchard Bishop. It has a wide range of traditional local shops selling gifts and groceries as well as a super store and all the usual facilities of hairdressers, book shop, health food shop and a small hospital It has a fabulous farmers’ market, modern leisure centre and plenty of family friendly pubs and restaurants. The Cathedral city of Exeter is 17.5 miles from Morchard Bishop where there are theatres, a stunning Cathedral, indoor climbing center, water sports center, numerous shopping malls, and an historic quay with waterfront cafes, antique shops and bars.
