  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

Debbie & her husband were extremely welcoming to us and we would love to come back again one day. Very well maintained, very clean & set in just the most stunning Devon countryside. Debbie also has maintained the gardens so well, they are magnificent. Really, a very special place that I hope we get to visit again one day.

  • "Such a lovely cottage, could not fault it in any way."

Beautifully clean and comfortable, had everything you could possibly need. Located in such a lovely setting with excellent road links to places to visit. Lovely walks on the owners land with the dogs who were very well catered for, as were we with some delicious cakes on arrival, with milk, tea and coffee to allow us to make a cuppa after our drive. Host very friendly and helpful. Even the weather was kind. We would love to visit again.

  • "Lovely cottage in beautiful location."

Well off the beaten track with gorgeous views wherever you are. All the amenities and facilities you could reasonably wish for. Cosy and nicely decorated. Unexpected welcoming touches - scrumptious homemade cupcakes - freshly cut flowers - 'proper' bottle of local milk. The woodlands are perfect, and you can explore at your leisure. Trees, wildlife, streams running through. You won't see a soul as it's private land. You'll share the farm with sheep (in the field just opposite the cottage), assorted dogs, and a friendly cat. There's a local pub/restaurant which is a few minutes drive, or a 30 minute walk via the woods if you're feeling energetic. If you took enough provisions you could spend your whole stay on this farm without leaving. If you did venture out further afield there is the beauty of rural and coastal North Devon to explore. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended!
