  • "It is a lovely apartment which is well maintained by the owners."

    We had a very comfortable week. Lovely sea and pier views and very comfortable walking in all directions. Hubby has a disc in back problem, but managed all the steps with not too much effort.

Pier View is situated right on the coast with a selection of sandy beaches and the delights of town centre just moments away.

Views of Birnbeck Pier (the 'Old Pier'), Brean Down, Steep & Flat Holm Islands, and the Wales and Somerset/Devon coastlines on the horizon.

Come to this exceptional apartment for a holiday as you enjoy the plethora of award-winning beaches, sublime coastal walks and a number of historical landmarks, all within easy reach of Pier View.

The apartment, which enjoys a clever blend of traditional style and contemporary furnishings, as well as captivating views out to sea from most of the rooms.

Across the road from the apartment are the lovely Prince Consort Gardens, which have been restored to their Victorian splendour.

Steps from the gardens lead down to a couple of bars with terraces and a splendid café at Anchor Head.

Still within walking distance and accessed along the Victorian promenade, is the town centre, of eateries, including quaint cafés and friendly pubs and fine dining restaurants for the evenings when you do not feel like cooking yourself, in addition to a plethora of shops for picking up essentials and gifts.

When it comes to things to do in Weston-super-Mare for ages and tastes, whether it be a round of golf at Bleadon Hill, the Helicopter Museum, Weston’s glorious parks including Grove, Ashcombe and Clarence Parks, catching a show at the Playhouse or Blakehay Theatre, or lazing on the glorious sands at one of the many beaches, including the Marine Lake lido with its sheltered beach which is especially good for children and where the tide is always in!

WESTON-SUPER-MARE

Burnham-on-Sea 11 miles; Bristol 25 miles.

The traditional seaside town of Weston-super-Mare offers awarding-winning sandy beaches, donkey rides, water sports, restaurants and shops as well as the Playhouse, Winter Gardens and the Grand Pier offering a year-round programme of shows, musicals and fairs. Burnham and Berrow Championship Golf Course is also close by. Sand Bay, just 2 miles away offers an unspoilt beach allowing horse riding all year round, plus Sand Point and Middle Hope, owned by the National Trust and open free to the public are near by. The famous Cheddar Caves and Gorge, with amazing cliff top walks, is only a short drive away, as are historic Wells, England's smallest city and Glastonbury Tor, with its connections to King Arthur. Further afield you can enjoy the breathtaking coastline, cliffs, sheltered bays, and of course the ponies, of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. A great holiday destination for families with children, and for the very active or those wishing to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
