  • "Another Sykes success, we won’t look anywhere else for our holiday rental, every property we have stayed at has been excellent."

  • "We had a wonderful time and will be back, the staff were amazing."

The house was beautiful but does need to sort out the downstairs shower, it just filled at the bottom and the door was broken, to the rest of the house it was a let down. And why only two dressing gowns? We were 5 adults. Other than that it was wonderful

Hi Lorraine, Thank you for leaving us a review, we are pleased to hear you will be returning to Swandown in the future. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the shower, we have now rectified the broken door and resolved the drainage issue. As standard we only supply 2 dressing gowns for the main bedroom as we don't like to over stock our linen but if you request more next time, I'm sure we will be able to accommodate you. We look forward to welcoming you back to Swandown in the future. Kind regards Swandown Team Property Owner

  • "The property was to a high standard, modern and we enjoyed our stay very much, especially the hot tub."

The facilities, furnishings, beds, towels, even towels for the hot tub were lovely. The property was clean, tidy and the views across the Cricket St Thomas estate beautiful. The only criticism we have is that it would be nice to have a small outside light around the hot tub area. Thank you for sharing your lovely property we all enjoyed our much need break.

  • "This lodge was luxurious from the soft white bath sheets to the quality of the crockery and cutlery."

The beds were really comfortable, the hot tub brilliant and the open plan layout gave it a very spacious feel. The fact that you could hire out the little swimming pool on site for your own private use was great and the free access to the local hotel leisure facilities was an added bonus. The walks from the property are extensive, the views are beautiful and the team were incredibly friendly and really helpful. We will return!

  • "My wife and I stayed at 12A for week with two other adults, making use of all three bedrooms and bathrooms."

The lodge has been maintained to a high standard and was ideal for a week's restful holiday. The hot-tub was used regularly, as was the swimming pool. We particularly appreciated the free access to the local Warner hotel's gym and pool. The lodge overlooked some beautiful scenery and provided ready access to miles of leisurely walks. We'd like to thank Leroy, who was always on hand in the reception to answer questions and to help out.

Immaculately clean very comfortable with everything you are likely to need in the kitchen and everywhere else, with masses of towels. It also has a great Jacuzzi that's well looked after. Magical place I would fully recommend a visit. Well worth the price of rental.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. It was the perfect place for our mum to celebrate her 92nd birthday. She really enjoyed getting out on her buggy amongst the cows and sheep, we plan to be back in the future. A big thank you to Leroy and Helen for making us feel at home.
