Gl/maps/xpr7kGA6VvViebrY9?g_st=ac Would have been useful to tell us things like it included wash up liquid, dishcloths, scrubby, few dishwasher tablets amd hot tub towels. Could have done with liquid handsoap in toilets and handrail on both sides of stairs as very steep. Also a clothes horse would be useful and a spatula in the kitchen.

"We arrived slightly early (about 15 minutes) before the check in time and the reception was manned by 2 people."
We got a pretty frosty welcome and told we were early and they weren’t ready. When I said we had stayed before and didn’t need a guided tour they seemed a bit more friendly . The same gentleman was more friendly on departure so maybe we just caught him at a bad moment. It wasn’t as if we turned up an hour early. Other people seems to be unloading vehicles at the same time but they may have been property owners. Otherwise this is a great place to stay and we really like the quality of the accommodation. Beds are comfortable and the property well equipped. We will definitely consider staying again

"We were absolutely delighted with the property & surroundings, the property was spotless, well equipped, spacious for 6 people, used the balcony for all our meals a lovely outdoor space to have, loved the hot tub & use of the pool, used the hotel for the spa which was lovely also."
The Manager was a pleasure, very informative & helpful. Lovely complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits & milk on arrival. Enjoyed local walks into the hotel grounds, fabulous nearby Farmshop for breakfast or lunch or cake called Barleymows a must visit! Highly recommended we would definitely look to stay again.

"Great property and fantastic location."
Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 toddler. Friendly and helpful staff. Made daily use of hot tub but pool only once as was a little cold for an infant. We cooked every night and although property had plenty of crockery, glasses etc, it would have benefitted from some decent knives and baking trays. Otherwise, property is perfect and would definitely return. Walked to Perrys Cider Farm, beautiful scenery with the reward of a cider flight, thoroughly recommend. Also walked around the estate spotting the wildlife and visited great local pub.

"LOVELY STAY FOR A FRIENDS 50TH, WOULD RECOMMEND"

"Lovely place."
Kitchen well equipped. Great social area, with open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Comfy beds. Showers powerful. Added bonus of the hot tub. We used it a lot ,especially as it is under cover . Only downside, but very small - there wasn’t a mirror in the twin bedded room, but did not cause a huge problem. We all loved this place and would love to return. Within easy walking distance to Warners (which you get free entry to). 5 minutes walk, across the road is a lovely pub, we only had the Sunday carvery, which was excellent.

We'll equipped kitchen ,sheltered hot tub , comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for showers etc. The area is private and relaxing with some lovely walks nearby too. Would bring our family here again .Thank you , we all enjoyed our stay.

"Amazing place."
Very clean. Beautiful views and perfect for cycling in a traffic free zone. Very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to recommend the place to others.

"This was a lovely property, which was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped."
The only down side was the hot tub didn’t work well, it didn’t seem to have same powerful jets I have experienced in other hot tubs. I did report it and it was adjusted but it made only a slight difference, having said that we still used it and it was relaxing.

"Excellent lodge with all facilities as described."
Very warm welcome from Leroy who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Only criticism is the pool temperature, it was very cold.
-
"Warmly greeted by Leroy and his colleague on arrival and very well looked after during our stay."
Nothing was too much trouble, even our daft questions. Despite the truly awful weather in late March, we were toasty warm and comfortable in the spacious, well appointed lodge. We will return later this year to do all the walks we planned this visit.
